  • Spacious 2 BR villa that includes a balcony, 1 master king with a private bath & 2 queens with a second full bath. Pull out sleeper sofa provides extra sleeping capacity. Includes a full kitchen, dining area and living room. The resort has four swimming pools at a gorgeous beachfront location including one pool with a water slide and other water activities. Fitness center, spa, sauna, and game room all on site. Grilling areas available near all villas. The Port Royal Golf Club is 1/2 mile away, or enjoy any of the many challenging courses available on the island. Very clean and scenic resort that is in the heart of beautiful Hilton Head Island.

Bad weather but still a great stay

My family and I were very impressed with the Barony Beach Marriott Vacation Club property. Conveniently located close to the beach on Hilton Head Island, this particular property is in the Garden villa buildings - meaning it is a longer walk to the beach from this building where our villa was located than other buildings/villas on site. This was not a problem for me and my younger family, but I could see where that might be an issue for older clientele. The property was very clean and well-maintained, and the two bedroom villa was very spacious and accommodating. It rained practically the entire time we were there for our vacation, but thankfully we were still so close to the beach that when the weather would break for a short spell it was easy to get to the beach. I used the fitness center, which was well equipped, and the overall location of the property, located in the Port Royal Plantation development, was superb and idyllic. We highly recommend this property, and overall give it a 5 star rating.
