    The Space:

    Bring your group to this Ocean Cove condo for a beach vacation. This two-bedroom retreat has access to a shared pool. A private balcony on the second floor provides a quiet spot to relax, and the condo complex is home to a peaceful lagoon.



    Ocean Cove is along the Palmetto Dunes waterway of Hilton Head Island, SC. The beach is across the street, and guests can walk to a boat landing, the shops and restaurants of the Marriott Beach and Golf Resort, and the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center where they can enjoy a free hour of play. The condo complex offers a lagoon with shared docks, a swimming pool, and a children's pool.



    When you return from the beach, you'll find a convenient outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand. Inside, you can relax in front of the living room's 40-inch flatscreen television with DVD player or a TV in either of the two bedrooms. In addition to the upstairs balcony, there is also a small deck with a sitting area at the front of the house.

You cannot beat the location and the check-in/out process was great. The condo itself leaves something to be desired. Mysterious stains, odors from the outside trashcan that waft through the not fully weather sealed doors and spaces that need a good cleaning, painting and caulking leave a negative impression on this unit. Hopefully the Dwell team recently took over this listing and plan to make appropriate updates in the off season. If my children were with us on this trip, we would’ve left the first night. I would be cautious about staying here again.

Property did not live up to the listing. Outside seating area was being renovated and not available for use. Mysterious stains on couch and master bedroom comforter. Doors did not seal well and the lock did not work on back slider. Inside spaces were in need of a refresh and good cleaning.Love the Ocean Cove location for it's proximity and ease of beach access but this was the least appealing of the 5 units we have stayed at location.Check in/ out process with the Dwell team was great as was the email communication from them. Quick to fix an AC issue in the unit prior to check-in but debris was left in the upstairs bathroom post-repair.
