Amazing family vacation

Stayed with our 5 kids (ages 13-3) and had a wonderful vacation! The place is perfect for families, the condo had everything we needed and more (including a washer and dryer). The resort had so many pools and hot tubs- we would “pool hop” after hanging at the beach or wandering around downtown (which was a half mile down the beach or road (with large sidewalks!). The grounds are beautifully maintained and small details (like complimentary swim diapers, hammocks and grills already piped with propane) made everything so easy! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Property!

We can’t recommend this property enough! From the rental company’s hustle in securing our reservation with the owner, to the easy checkin process, the experience was outstanding. The villa itself was pristine, and spacious. The Marriott Grande Ocean vacation club property has thought of every detail. The pictures do not do it justice either. We would return to this property without hesitation!!

Beautiful Location

This is a beautiful place to stay if you can get in. We don't have a time share but we were able to get in with someone who does and who put it up on VRBO. Would love to get the place again when we go 2 years from now!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! The biggest pool is heated as is the lazy river. The rooms are HUGE and clean and perfect for families. Having the ocean right outside our door was amazing and the staff are all so helpful. Highly Recommend!

Nice place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this HH accommodation. The condo was very spacious, clean, convenient location and our balcony faced the lagoon which was very peaceful. Lagoon area was picturesque with many beautiful trees and bench swings to relax on. Short walk to one of the pools/beach and any area of the resort. Plenty of chairs. Bike rentals right on property and chair rentals too which was convenient. Beach was beautiful. Area was convenient to most restaurants and shopping. Would not recommend the on site restaurant. Food was not good. Definitely would return for a relaxing vacation.

Wonderful Stay

Marriott's Grande Ocean was wonderful! They just re-did the dolphin pool which was a great area for our young kids. They had plenty of family fun activities at the resort and the walk to the beach was short.

Marriott Grande Ocean

We loved the resort. They kept us up to date on activities and Elsa. The downside was that they only had one place to order food because they were renovating which they did not make clear on their web site. The condo was terrific. Very clean and big. You can rent bikes right there and walk into town.

Great Family Vacation Spot

Great location on Hilton Head Island, away for many of the crowds. The resort was beautiful and well maintained. The condo was spacious, clean and updated. The resort staff was wonderful and used daily texts to inform guests of activity changes. The multiple BBQ grilling areas were s nice touch to have a meal option away from the crowded restaurants.

Great resort and vacation

We really enjoyed our week at Marriott’s Grande Ocean. The resort is beautiful and right on the beach. There are several pools with different levels of activity to please everyone. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with supplies, cooking utensils, etc (as opposed to some of the beach houses we have rented, where cooking supplies can be hit or miss). They have fun activities for kids and adults, plenty of options for those who want to participate in the fitness classes, and they publish a calendar of activities a week at a time so you can plan accordingly. There is also a great pool bar/restaurant where we had drinks most days and a few dinners/lunches. All of the staff we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Incredible experience

My family loved this resort! I can't say enough about Grande Ocean! Vacation candy made it so easy to book our vacation and once we checked in, Grande Ocean was just as great. The staff, amenities, cleanliness and more were 5-star! Will stay again!

Marriot's Grand Ocean Resort in Hilton Head

We vacationed there with our family. There were 5 of us including the 2 of us and our 3 children (one adult child and 2 teenagers). We had a wonderful experience. We love Hilton Head and the resort was wonderful. We were very comfortable in our 3 bedroom condo. The complex was exceptional. Plenty for everyone to do. Multiple pools and activities. I would highly recommend it.

Great family fun

Great place to hit the beach, bike ride and relax with the family. Rooms are huge, clean and very comfortable. We loved our stay and are retuning again. This will be out family vacation. Spot.
