Very Nice Property

This property is well-kept and clean. The beds and linens were excellent. The kitchen is very well stocked with all necessary cookware and the appliances were great. The location cannot be beat. Our only issue was with some of the water fixtures, locks on the deck doors and a need for some updating.

Great family vacation!

We had a great stay at the Moorings! Such a great location, within steps to the beach, community pool, tennis courts, and the Dunes house. The property management was easy to work with and provided us with constant communication. Overall, great stay and can’t wait to come back again!

The unit was in a great location and is spacious. It is advertised as newly updated but the bath tubs and toilets are in need of updating and there is a lack of water pressure. Otherwise the unit is nice

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and comfortable. The beach was a short walk away; 5mins. It was pet friendly. Everything worked great. We will be coming back specifically to this unit. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

Nice time in Palmetto Dunes

We had a great time at the Moorings. The apartment was spotlessly clean and is in a great location; the proximity to the beach is fantastic. Also nice to have the bikes and beach chairs! The apartment could need a few updates in the two master bathrooms and also new couch. We had a great time though and would love to come back! Thanks!

Great Stay

My husband and I stayed in The Moorings in early March 2024. The unit was very clean and equipped with the essentials. We went to the beach every day and rode the bicycles which were included in the rental. We also played pickleball at the nearby courts. The only disappointment was that we could not use the pool as the weather was cool. Will return next year.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location. The rental was pretty outdated and felt dirty with a musky odor. The backdoor was broken and maintenance didn't come until Monday morning. So we had to stay without a secure door for two nights with an infant. That was pretty disappointing.

What an amazing week we had on Hilton Head. The villa was clean, spacious, and steps from the beach, pool and our favorite General Store. Our dog Elphie loved exploring and playing with other dogs on the beach. We look forward to returning!

The property was exactly as described. We arrived to a clean welcoming condo with a short walk to the beach. All amenities were in good condition. We needed to contact the management company over a few minor things and they responded quickly and immediately took care of the issue.

Location was excellent!! So close to the beach and the Dunes House. Kitchen was well stocked and appreciated the beach chairs and bikes that came with the unit. Master bedroom was warmer than the rest of the unit - but property manager promptly provided a fan and offered to inspect AC unit. Mattresses in second bedroom need replacing but if travelling with smaller children they are probably fine - very uncomfortable for adults, though. Split floor plan is great for privacy.

Great location to the beach and bike trails

Our stay was great! Easy 2 minute walk to the beach and right around the corner from the pool! Palmetto Dunes location is great for riding bikes or taking the shuttle over to shelter's Cove. We only had one issue with the A/c unit not working on one side of the condo but it was resolved within 2 hours.

Wonderful location and fantastic property

We had an incredible stay!! We spent the week with our 3 daughters (25, 18, 14). The property is so spacious that we all had ample room to spread out and also had great privacy. It’s a short jaunt to the beach and literally a few steps to the pool all day and a short bike ride to so many activities. We didn’t even have to get in a car if we didn’t want!! We will definitely be back!!

Property clean, location great minutes from the beach. Property managers very attentive. Only recommendation is that it could use some updating, especially Dining seating, only for 4, but kitchen very well equipped. Windows poor visibility due to moisture between pane. Dog friendly, so not only did we have a wonderful stay, so did our Pooch.
