Fully renovated town home with gorgeous kitchen and baths, directly next to Sea Turtle Market place, groceries, movie theater. Burkes and Bradley Beach only 5 minutes away and Shelter Cove Marketplace 2 miles. Restaurants 1 block away. Great and Large place to stay for those looking to be near the beach and shopping. This is located within a residential community but perfectly placed near all of the beaches and fabulous amenities of Hilton Head.

Awful

Getting into the unit was awful. It took numerous phone calls to figure out the ekey. It never worked. It took an hour to get into the unit. I was furious. The interior was ok. The neighborhood was very discouraging and scary. During the nite we barred the flimsy doors with chairs. For fear of being broken into. I asked to pay extra to check in early.... because of the lock system I got in 30 minutes ahead if regular check in time.....the man came to pick up the money at 9:15 pm. The neighbors were up at all hours and yelling in the wee hours if the morning. I never slept I am grateful to have only stayed one nite. I would have cancelled otherwise.

The Hornet House

Newly renovated, and very cozy. A good value for the area, and a great location. Our longest drive to the beach, dinner, or golf course was 10 minutes. Quiet property and the owner was very easy to work with. Unfortunately, the property has a hornet problem. There were multiple nests on the back patio. Two members of our group were stung on the arm and face. There also weren't enough towels for the advertised amount of guests it could sleep (6 guests, only 4 towels). There were also only two trash bags left for us. All in all a good stay, and would recommend to people. Just bring your Raid Hornet Spray!
