This Breakers beach/oceanfront condo is a great location for families; steps away from the complex pool with the beach and ocean just beyond. The unit is located adjacent to the elevator. Conveniently located across from Coligny Plaza with restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. Condo has just been updated with new ceramic tile flooring and fresh paint. Sleeps up to 5; one bedroom with queen bed, new sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress, and a hallway inset lower bunk for a small child. Additional amenities include two flat screen smart TVs (living room/bedroom) with cable, DVD player, internet, fully-stocked kitchen with stovetop and microwave/convection oven, and crockpot. Remodeled full bathroom with new shower with adjoining washer/dryer and balcony with sitting area overlooking the pool and the ocean. Convenient secure keyless entry. Complex has on-site security. No smoking and no pets.

Conference rooms at Sea Pines were sold out and we're so glad! Had a great 5 day stay at Breakers 230. Apartment was just the right size for the two of us. Perfect location and perfect host. Weather was also great for October. Conveniently located to beach, shops and restaurants. Piggly Wiggly right across the street!

The condo was super nice, we had all the utensils or appliances we needed. We had two adults and two 18 year old kids and it was perfect for sleeping in and going and do things during the day. We communicated with the owner and he responded quickly. My husband and I discussed on the way home from our trip that we felt safe every where we went down there, our kids would go off during the day and in the evening and we never worried about them. We definitely would rent again.

Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay at Breakers 230. The location was perfect!! Beach access just steps away. Right next to Coligny Plaza. The condo was just right for my husband and I to get away for a few days. Bed comfort is a big deal for me as I had back surgery at the age of 15 and my back is full of metal. The bed was comfy and we both slept pretty well. The owner was very responsive, even letting me know that we could go on in earlier than check-in time if we arrive early. My one complaint is that the bathroom floor was not clean when we arrived. There was debris and someone’s earring left on the floor. And the bathroom rug was very full of sand. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Beautiful ocean views in the cute and clean 2nd floor beach condo! Perfect location on Hilton Head across the street from Coligny Plaza with lots of cute shops and restaurants. Kitchen was nicely equipped. We really enjoyed our stay at this condo, worked well for our family of 2 adults and a 9 year old. Clean pool, easy walk out to the beach. Host was prompt and great to communicate with!

My family and I just returned from a wonderful stay at HHI in this unit! The owner was so easy to work with and really made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation. The cheerfully decorated unit was nicely updated and really felt like the owners put extra thought into making the unit comfortable (plenty of hooks, very comfortable beds, including the pull out couch, an easy keyless entry and even had plenty of beach accessories and toys). Our view of the pool and beach exceeded my expectations and we loved how close we were to shops and restaurants.

Felt it was a little over priced for property. We had to buy pillows for the bed as the ones that were provided were so uncomfortable. Fitted sheet did not fit properly so was constantly trying to keep it on during the night. The dishwasher left the dishes dirtier than when we put them in. Beach was wonderful!

Disappointing condo, great location

I would not recommend staying at this condo if you expect a clean place to stay. It needs a very thorough cleaning. I would have left if there were other options but it was a busy week and we were stuck. I wiped all counters, cabinets, walls, light switches, door knobs down right away. The drawers in the bedroom were filthy and even had dirty towels and blankets in them. There was a used diaper underneath the bed. It was just grimy and hard to relax in. Also, the owner had messaged me the code to get into the condo and accidentally also sent the message that he sent the guest before me. So I found out that he uses the same code for every guest. This made us very uncomfortable. I messaged the owner right away to let him know how dirty the condo was and how we felt unsafe with the door code not being changed between guests. He just said he would talk to his cleaning people, which did us no good for the week that we were there. He also said he doesn't change the code because there is a guard shack. The guard never asked us our name, just what unit we were staying in so anyone can get through. The only good thing about this condo is the location. There is a pool, a walkway to the beach and it is across from Coligny plaza with lots of restaurants and shops.

Cute condo on the beach

The location overall is awesome being right at Coligny Plaza and directly on the beach. Communication from Roy preparing for arrival was fantastic. When I arrived at the property management company to pickup my parking pass before checking in they had not put it out on the board where I was told I could find it. I know that Roy emailed them I was coming because I received a copy. Thankfully someone was still in the office to retrieve it for me even though I was close to their closing time. They told me, "we were expecting you on the 27th"... it was the 27th *facepalm*. There are elevators being installed at Breakers but they are not complete and I didn't see anyone working on them during the week I stayed, as of the first of October. That will be a nice addition as the unit is up two flights of stairs. Since the elevator area is blocked off we had no other foot traffic going by room 230. Once the elevators are complete, since they are next to the room, there will be a lot more people regularly walking by. Housekeeping could use a reminder to dust blinds and light fixtures/lampshades. The light bulbs over the kitchen sink and below the microwave were also burned out. Although I found several replacement bulbs in a drawer, there weren't any found for those locations. I wish I had know this unit (bedroom) overlooks the complex dumpster and a few feet away from that the dumpster of the neighboring building as well. On four of my five nights staying, the dumpster was emptied between 5:45-6:15am. It's loud. If you're an early morning person or heavy sleeper (like my four year old) you may not notice. My six year old (down the hall) and I were woken by the trash truck each morning and couldn't go back to sleep, despite having on our usual sound machine from home running loud. This made for an extra tired and cranky kid later. Some mornings the neighboring dumpster was heard as well. On the plus side, the complex trash doesn't get overly full. The kitchen is well stocked for being small. I was surprised to find several dirty (and sandy) dishes in the cabinet though. The unit had plenty of bath towels, seasonally appropriate blankets and bedding, beach chairs, sand toys and umbrellas. It was nice being able to do laundry. My kids enjoyed the pools and it's great that there is a little 2' pool as well. While we did enjoy our stay overall and it suited our needs for this trip, I'll probably try a different place next time.

This property was exactly as it was explained. The location was fabulous. Just a short walk to the beach. Loved sitting on the balcony listening to the ocean day or night. Communication with the owner was wonderful! The check in and check out process was seamless. We would definitely consider staying here again.
