Family beach vacation

This condo was perfect for our group! Well stocked kitchen made preparing meals easy. Beds were comfy. It was also a very short walk to the beach! It was also great location to shopping and dining plus other attractions on HHI.

Very nice cobdo for my wife, 2 kids and each brought a friend. Enough room for all 6. Clean pool and very close to the beach. Perfect. I would recommend highly!!

Location steps from the beach, short walk to Coligny. Kitchen is always well stocked w pots/pans etc. This year there was a new pool, much larger than the old one. It never gets real crowded as there are only 30 or so Units. We will never stay anywhere else!!

Love Hilton Head Beach Villas

The pool is also wonderful just steps from the villa . Working with Seashore was so easy . No complaints. I will say villa 13 simply needs a deep clean . We found stuff under furniture, etc. It’s also dark . Maybe upgrade to LED light bulbs . However , overall , it was a great experience and we will be back !

Kitchen was well stocked and the furniture was quite comfortable. Peaceful, lush landscaping and we even saw bunnies on the lawn and deer in the maritime forest along the beach boardwalk. Overall a wonderful retreat. My only issues were: 1. We were unaware the pool would be closed our entire stay and the management company never to responded to my question regarding this. 2. The bedsheets were "pilled up" and rough feeling.

Need to replace some pillows , were stained and smelly, and replace very old and thin towels etc. One bathroom sink was draining extremely slow , and we had slow and interrupted WiFi. The place could use a deep thorough cleaning.

disappointing

the pictures are deceiving, the balcony and terrace level need a good clean, the sofa is outdated and just not clean, the cook wear are so old and scratched that I was afraid to use it, the floor is just horribly squeaking, toilets are not working properly and the water in the master bedroom in the tub is not draining properly. we will never rent this property again and will not recommend to our friends. very disappointed.

This unit was disappointing. No sheets for pull out couch bed, dust was very thick on light fixtures, headboards and bathroom walls, no dresser in master, no hanging space and tiny dresser in bottom bedroom,, so much extra bedding and pillows that it took away space from our use, broken closet doors, laundry room cabinets filled with junk thrown in them, back patio and bottom floor closet filled with previous renters beach JUNK, food on floors from previous renters, furniture not returned to original layout, laundry room cluttered with cleaning supplies that need moved to actually use the dryer, rugs that block doors in bathrooms from closing, broken dishes and bowls, outlet cover not attached in living room, no cover on remote control (taped to secure), extra large cockroach in trash compactor, wall vent to basement covered in thick dust. Property manager walked the unit with us on request and found us alternative accommodations. We do not recommend to anyone unless some attention to cleaning and some updates are made.

Property was Dirty because it was ‘Owner Cleaned’

DO NOT STAY HERE if you are concerned about cleanliness! Management was responsive, but the property itself is old, dark, and not updated. But worst of all the place was “OWNER CLEANED”. Employees told us that the place hadn’t been cleaned by a professional crew in over a month. In 10+ years of booking with VRBO, we have never encountered anything like this. The place was filthy! We were greeted by dead bugs in several places. Counters and bathrooms were not wiped down, dust had piled up on lamps, pictures, furniture, the floors were dirty, and the owner’s long gray hairs were everywhere. The management company offered to do a deep clean while we were here, but there was no point since we had to clean the basics when we arrived before we’d let our children even take their shoes off or touch anything. And doing a deep clean which would require us to be out of the unit for half a day was not realistic. The owner refunded our ‘cleaning fee’ which is absurdly minimal but offered nothing else. On top of this the WiFi was unreliable and the main room tv kept losing connectivity to the point where we had our family movie nights watching on an iPad. Location is great but overall Horrible experience. From now on, we will go out of our way to confirm homes are not ‘Owner Cleaned’ before we book.

Dirty, Old, Poorly Equipped

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in a great location, but it was the worst unit we have ever stayed in (especially for the price). The unit was dirty...puzzle pieces on the middle of the living room rug told me it was not vacuumed. Spilled water on the kitchen floor resulted in a black paper towel. There were no amenities stocking the unit...literally no toilet paper (not even a roll on the dispenser; we had to run to Piggly Wiggly before we could use the restroom), paper towels, facial tissues, soap, shampoo, or trash bags. The only thing there were two dishwasher tabs. No dresser in the master bedroom. No TV in the queen room. A stain (blood? poop?) on the master bedroom light switch. The unit was outdated, ill-equipped and dirty. Do not stay here.

Nice Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The villa was a great place to stay for our vacation. A few small things could have been better. Some light bulbs were out and the lighting in the kitchen area around the table could be a little brighter. The sofa sleeper was on the middle level and it would have been nicer on the lower level like it was last time we stayed at this villa a few years ago. There was not an iron or board in the villa and some small fans would have been nice in the bedrooms for some "white noise". Extra garbage bags would also be nice. I'm being pretty picky but overall the villa was awesome and we are very happy with our stay. The location was perfect to the beach and the circle either walking or biking. Thank you for a wonderful vacation week at a great property.
