Great location and best porches!

We came to visit for my mom’s 60th birthday! We loved the location of the house - walking distance to the Salty dog & shops, the pool, and to the beach. We enjoyed the porches and the big living area. Check-in and check-out was easy as directions were sent to me via text message and email. I definitely recommend - we will come and stay again!

Hilton Head Girls Golf Trip

This was a great property and well suited to a group of women on a golf trip. Unfortunately, there was considerable unexpected road construction which was a bit of a bother, but we managed just fine. We would all recommend this location to a group of adults or an extended family vacation

Great location - A couple of asks

As previous Sea Pines home owners this house was in the perfect location and a perfect size for our family and proximity to the beach. Having a family of 6, there are a few minor things that could have made our stay a bit easier and probably less frustrating for the home owners. We have a young family and there was not vacuum in the house for us to sweep the floors or clean up any messes. With a family of 6 and small children, it’s essential to have a way to clean up messes and without a vacuum this made for a frustrating experience and therefore a messier house than I would imagine a home owner would want. Additionally, there were no cleaning supplies and typically I would expect supplies to ensure we are using the products the owner wants us to use on their surfaces. We didn’t have an issue purchasing toilet paper, soap, trash bags but there were literally no cleaning supplies available (and minimal of mentioned products above). The doors also have issues. One of the double glass doors is hard to keep closed and another door step has a faulty lock set. The blinds were also broken at the bottom of the doors. We placed a chair in front of the door that wouldn’t lock all week. While we loved the location and house, it was a frustrating experience to hear we were charged an additional cleaning fee on top of the $1,000 already charged for host and services fees because they were not satisfied with how we kept the house. The house did not have a typical house manual.

Wonderful family vacation

Our stay at the house was so enjoyable. It was spacious, clean and well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans. It was also wonderful to have the grill option. The deck and porch was so enjoyable. We would love to stay there again.

We had a great time using this house. It was a little outdated, couched are worn, carpeting was dirty and needs overall needs some TLC. But it definitely met our family's needs. GREAT location!

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The home is in an excellent location, however we were a little disappointed with the lack of comfortable furnishings for our family. The living area lacks enough furnishing for the size of the home, the televisions need to be upgraded along with TVs and DVD players in all bedrooms. There is a beautiful porch which can't be enjoyed because there is no furniture. The small screen porch is great, but the furniture is sparse and very uncomfortable. Great house, but needs some attention.

Wonderful House & Great Location

We stayed at this house for our annual tennis trip. Great location to the courts and the beach . Last year part of our group stayed here and what a difference. The house has been updated with new furniture and flooring. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need. We loved the porch which is huge. We will definitely come back next year.

Super Vacation

We really enjoyed the house. The updates were very nice and we found the beds comfortable. Two notes - the listing claims it is a one-minute walk to the beach. While the beach is close, it is considerably longer than a 1-minute walk. This was disappointing as proximity to the beach was an important factor in choosing the house. The bathrooms are also very outdated and need to be perked up. That said, we enjoyed the house and may stay again. It was clean and the open common area was very nice. We also liked the porch and listening the music from the Salty Dog while sitting outside.

We found this location great for all we wanted to do with the kids and playing tennis. The small pool was great for times we didn’t want to trek to the beach. The main negative is the mattresses and furniture are in serious need of updating, everyone had a hard time sleeping.

Our family enjoyed this house, as there's plenty of room for all of us adults to have our own space. The house is very nice and has lots to offer (large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, great porch and walking distance to pool, beach and the South Beach marina). The only issues were small but need attention. The living room furniture is aging and needs to be replaced soon. The whole house can use fresh paint and the bathrooms need to be upgraded. Again, these are not deal-breakers but should be addressed before next season. We would gladly stay there again.

Great house for a multi-family vacation

This was the 2nd time we have rented this home and its location can't be beat. We love the layout and love that there are bathrooms for each bedroom - perfect when renting with multiple families. The private pool as well as the proximity to the marina/playground and beach is great. Food and shopping within walking distance. The house is comfortable and lived in. We were provided with plenty of toiletries and cleaning supplies for the first couple days of vacation. The kitchen was totally stocked in terms of pots, pans, tupperware, and dishes which was great. Some plastic cups (as opposed to all glass) would be good, but we bought solo cups as an alternative. The refrigerator needs to be replaced. It was not keeping food as cold as it should and required a "kick" every time it was closed to be sure it was shut tight. Also, the door handles on the dining room french doors are not secure (we remembered these coming off last time we rented as well). Other than that, we had a great visit, loved the house, and would definitely recommend it to friends as well as rent again.

We loved the home. It was beautiful. We stayed comfortably with 3 families. 6 adults and 3 children. It was nice that all bedrooms had it's own bathroom. The only thing would recommend is some patio furniture on the back deck. We liked to gather on the porch and play cards, games, etc, but there were not enough seats/table.
