The person at check in was very nice. It is an older establishment but place has new flooring and is spotless. I will stay here again.

The property was good for the price. The location was in the center of town and easy to get to restaurants and the trail. It is an old property that has had some upgrades but is average in overall feel.

Was your basic room, no frills, but had everything we needed. The weather was cold and damp but the room stayed very comfortable. Overall, it was perfect for our road trip.

The room was very clean! After speaking with a family member that owns it, two years ago they renovated all the rooms and it shows. The price was so fair, and would stay there again when coming through the area. A+

This was an convenient inexpensive place to stay on my way to South Carolina, a clean comfortable room in an older motel. Friendly check in and about a mile to Creek Bottom Brewery, which had live bluegrass music, good food and great beer, and the motel is about a mile from the New River Trail which I will bike. My first time visiting Galax, and I want to come back.

Clean,comfortable and an excellent value.
This was quite the motor lodge back in the day. Not many of these properties still around.

Just a wonderful experience. Clean and tidy. The hot water was hot, the room heat was awesome, the parking was ample and I liked the cozy and warm decor. The table and two chairs made for a nice dinner while I watched the local birds outside. Absolutely no noise from the highway even though it was conveniently close by. I would definetly stay here again.

Reading past reviews, it seems that there may have been some problems in the past. My (and my brother's) room were clean, the floors had been replaced not too long ago, and the TV, refrigerator, microwave, etc. were modern and in great working condition. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

After reading some reviews I was a lil hesitant but honestly it’s not that bad! The beds were a little hard so I can agree with the other comments there but honestly it was clean and a pretty easy location to get to! Checkin was a breeze and the staff was so nice! The only real complaint I had was that the ac was super loud for my kids and that the bath didn’t have a plug so I couldn’t give my baby a bath after 7 hours in a car but other than that it was great! Def staying here next time we pass through!

Like staying in a motel in the 1970's! A motorcourt setup. New roof, porches all painted, brickface fronts clean. Room itself was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The bathroom is totally retro (pink ceramic) but ceilings and floors are new and everything is well taken care of.

Average cheap motel. Not a place i would seek out again but it was ok for a couple of nights. No room service. No breakfast. And i think i had to wake up,the manager to check out at 7:30 a.m. But it was clean and the shower was good. Bed was ok and we were comfortable for both nights.

Location to downtown Galax and Highway 58 is excellant. Housekeeping was excellant. Coffee available in the morning and ice machine available in the office. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Rooms were clean and each day the maid replaced the towels and cleaned the bathroom. We would stay there again.

It is an old motel. Convenient, and the bed was comfortable. Room and bathroom was clean. Parking lot is rough, but that's ok for the price. You can park right in front of your room. Overall good experience if you are not looking for luxury.
