Time together in the Volcanic Eifel

Haus der alten Bäume in Hillesheim is rented exclusively as a whole holiday home for your family or group. Around 265 m² provide room for up to 24 guests in total, including children. Six individually designed bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, combine shared holidays with private places to unwind. Natural colours, solid wood furniture and mature trees give the house its character.

Your six bedrooms
• Mammutkraft, up to 4: a 200 × 200 cm king bed and a 155 × 200 cm sofa bed for two.
• Kiefernlicht, up to 4: a 160 × 200 cm four-poster bed and a 200 × 200 cm king bed.
• Fichtenruhe, up to 4: a 200 × 200 cm king bed and a 150 × 200 cm double bed.
• Erlenfluss, up to 3: a 180 × 200 cm double bed and a 100 × 200 cm single bed.
• Buchenherz, up to 5: an electrically adjustable double bed with two 90 × 190 cm sleeping surfaces, plus a bunk bed with a 140 × 200 cm lower bed for two and a 90 × 200 cm upper bed for one.
• Eichenwacht, up to 4: two double beds measuring 140 × 200 cm and 160 × 200 cm.
Maximum occupancy of the entire house is 24 guests.

Bathrooms and linen
Each bedroom has its own bathroom and a hairdryer. There is an additional guest WC in the shared area. Bed linen and towels can be added for €20 per person; when booked, beds are made and towels are ready on arrival.

Cook, eat and relax together
The fully equipped shared kitchen and large dining table are ideal for meals together. Enjoy the lounge with TV and the table football game. Wi-Fi and a washing machine are available.

Garden and outdoor time
The approximately 4,000 m² natural grounds feature mature trees, a tree swing, sun terrace, outdoor dining area, fire pit and barbecue area. The above-ground garden pool is seasonal and available in summer. At least six parking spaces are available at the house.

Discover Hillesheim, the Bolsdorfer Tälchen valley and the landscape of the Volcanic Eifel on walks and day trips. Discounted access to the nearby Augustiner-Hotel wellness area can be arranged through our partnership. This is a separate facility at the partner hotel and is not included in the house price.

• Check-in from 3 pm; check-out by 10 am.
• Final cleaning is included; the local guest contribution is charged separately.
• Bed linen and towels are optional at €20 per person.
• A maximum of two dogs is permitted in Mammutkraft only, by prior agreement. Please discuss your dog with us before booking.
• Your host Valentina lives with her family in a separate private house next door and is available for questions.
