In the same area guests will find a love seat for lounging after a long day of sight seeing as well as a dining table with two chairs. The wall-mounted television is serviced by Dishnetwork to provide additional entertainment.
Air conditioning is provided in the bedroom and box fans will be throughout the cabin to help keep things comfortable during the summer. On the cooler days space heaters are more than capable to keep this tiny cabin nice and toasty.
Outside there is a picnic table, charcoal barbecue, fire pit, and refreshing views of the surrounding thick pine forest of the Black Hills. You will also see our free range chickens roaming the property. Both firewood and fresh eggs are available for purchase on site. Charcoal and lighter fluid that other guests have left may be available at no charge.

Nice, clean property. The bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean and cozy. The owners were very friendly and responsive. We look forward to staying there again!
We loved staying at Robin's Roost! The owners Matt and Beth were awesome. The cabin was clean and bed was comfortable. Loved the fire pit. We will definitely be back.
This was such a clean, quaint cabin that was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. Firepit was very nice and was able to buy firewood right on the property which was delivered. The chickens were so friendly and we loved them! Bed was comfy, kitchen stocked with everything we needed and an overall perfect stay. Definitely would stay again
the cabin is in a great location, easy to get to the national monuments, fully stocked kitchen, clean, property managers quickly responded to my questions, provided an extra blanket etc.. Only down would be there was only two pillows and two bath towels.
The cabin was charming and spotless, with all the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed watching the chickens. Although we had to shorten our visit because of a family emergency, our time there was delightful.
Sweet little converted bunkhouse. Perfect for us. The location is right in the middle of some of the most beautiful scenery South Dakota has to offer. We highly recommend the Iron Mountain and Needles Highways. The hosts were amazing and worked very hard to make sure our stay was pleasant. I highly recommend any of the accommodations at the Robins Roost.

Extremely clean….very homey and the owners are the best!
This property is exactly what we wanted. In town for a quick weekend (wedding) and just wanted a cozy cabin! The hosts were great. Super friendly, went out of their way to meet us and all. Come stay here!
Great little cabin for our family of 4. Matt and Beth were great hosts and extremely helpful in getting us a few odds and ends that we needed. Cabin was very clean and our kids loved the playground area. Can’t wait to plan our next visit!
Very clean, small cabin very convenient to Hill City, Custer and anywhere else you would like to be in the Black Hills. The only draw back was being a little to close to the highway. It didn’t offer the privacy we were looking for, but the wonderful host couple and convenient location made me give this a higher review. It was a good stay overall.
We throughly enjoyed our stay! The managers are super friendly and always available. Our boys had a blast and especially enjoyed the chickens and the park. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again.
This tiny cabin is a great “base camp“ for Mount Rushmore, crazy horse, and the badlands. Our hosts were extremely friendly and gracious. The property, while small, met our needs (there were two of us). Would definitely come back and stay again.
Decent little place for what you pay. No locks on the windows so if security is a concern just keep that in mind but other than that a decent place near Mt. Rushmore and adventure rentals.
My friend and I stayed at this cabin for a weekend trip to the black hills. The drive to get there was beautiful and it was in the center of all the major hills attractions. The property was very clean and we had everything we needed if we wanted to cook or have a firepit! The beds were very comfy too haha. The owner was very helpful and communicative on any questions we had or anything we needed!
It was an overall great experience and if we ever get the chance I'd definetly consider staying here again.
Owners we’re very gracious and were constantly available if needed. Cabin was clean and just the right size for two guys traveling to the Sturgis rally. Cabin had a refrigerator and microwave, but no stove. A cooktop was available but we didn’t need/want it. Overall, very satisfied with the rental.
The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The cabin was quaint and comfortable for our small family. The beds were very comfortable. Our kids loved the little park area! We enjoyed the charcoal grill and outdoor area.
