The owners Justin and Ashley are amazing!!!
Made us feel like family. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful relaxing stay in Wildcat cottage! The waffles and coffee for breakfast were great. Had lots of good conversations with the owners Justin and Ashley and some of the other guests in the Taproom.
Great place to stay! Loved the taphouse on site. They offered free waffles and coffee in the morning. Had a bonfire on every night for anyone to join. Quiet and serene surroundings. Roomy cabins and so comforable! I was so pleasantly surprised. Will stay again!
Had such a great time here. Such beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Room was clean and comfortable and the hosts were friendly, helpful and very responsive. I will definitely be returning!
The cabin was super clean and comfortable, in a very pretty location that's convenient to a lot of Black Hills day trips.
We stayed in the off-season, so not much going on, but I imagine the taproom and community bonfire during high season would be great. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Absolutely loved the serenity of this place. Even though it was right off the highway, very little road noise. Very clean and well-stocked. We'll definitely be staying here again
This was such a great place for us to stay! The owner Justin was so nice and helpful and the gentleman that was helping was also super friendly. Quiet, nice little cabin with plenty of room for my family of 4. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
We enjoyed our stay at Black Elk Resort. The owners are so sweet and amazing. I would definitely god back! Cabins were clean and views were amazing! Love this place and my family also loved!
The groundskeepers, or owners not sure which were super friendly.
Loved everything about this place except in my opinion the bed was super uncomfortable, but other than that I have no complaints
This is a cozy little place. It is nice but be aware the cabins are small. Has a very neat little tap room that is quite fun. The owners are very sweet and welcoming. Very easy access to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse.
wonderful resort, like new cabin, cool "tap room" check in area and convenient to all the site Mount Rushmore, Keystone and Hill City, Custer Park. Sayted with my parents and cabin was perfect with separate bedrooms, large bathroom and kitchenette and living room made for a nice stay with privacy. private parking just feet from front door.
The property was immaculate. The location was perfect with great views. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable, and we had HOT water!!!! The owners treated us like family and they take such great care of the property. Unbelievable place to stay. I would highly recommend Black Elk Resort, and we can't wait to come back next year!
We stayed in Aspen cottage for a week. The cottage was perfect for our needs. The location is perfect for all the activities in the Black Hill area. The property was very well maintained and clean. The owners provide a fun atmosphere with nightly bon fires, grilling area and tap room for gathering and conversations. We will be recommending to everyone and hope to return some day.
The grounds were very well kept and the staff was friendly. The breakfast in the morning was a great option as well. We loved the location and would stay again if we were in the area!
