Welcome to the High County mountain cabin in Franklin N.C. Located 10 min. to town at the foothills of the Smokey Mountains .Dillsboro, Sylvia, Bryson City, Cherokee and Helen G.A. all with in 45min. Cabin has lodge décor with 1 Queen bed, full bath, kitchen and Livingroom. Air mattress available . Kids can also camp in the Livingroom with sleeping bags. We provide all house hold items and linens so just bring your bag for a fabulous getaway!

My wife and I love the Franklin area. This little place is close enough to enjoy what Franklin has to offer and far enough away to have the peaceful mountain vibe.

Cozy and friendly

The cabin and property was very cozy and friendly. Perfect for me and my pup as we were traveling thru. I had an unexpected change in dates and the hosts responded quickly and switched me to a week soon. I would definitely dtay here again!

Cozy cabin

This cabin is so cozy and welcoming. I really enjoy the quite surroundings. Nice big porch to relax on with picnic table, chairs, and swing. This was our 2nd time here and look forward to our next stay.

Great cozy cabin

It was so easy to check in and check out, not a lot of paperwork to sign, etc. just very smooth. We love the place and the host was there anytime that we needed them ...we definitely want to go back.

It was everything we needed. Very quiet. The campground could’ve been looked after a little better but some of that could be considered “camper clutter”. Better than hotels in the area for sure.

Anniversary trip

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love it! We have decided it will be our annual anniversary trip stay. Peaceful, beautiful, clean & quite! Owners are amazing! We eat out, but it has everything you need and more! Already looking forward to next year!

Great little getaway spot. Very clean, easy to get to, and in a great location. About 1.5 hours from Gatlinburg, 10 minutes from down town Franklin, 25 minutes from Highlands, 20 minutes to Dillard, 35 minutes to Rabun. Lots of waterfalls and scenery to explore. The owner’s communication was great as well. Highly recommend!

Fabulous Find

This is the second time staying at High Haven. My husband and our two fur babies thoroughly enjoyed our time together. The cabin was clean and a good location near restaurants and grocery stores. The host communicated all of the details. We look forward to many more visits in the future.

Beautiful Cabin

We had a really nice time and the cabin was really pretty. It was so quiet. The property manager gave us all the information ahead of time! Ashli was very helpful!!
