"This place absolutely exceeded my expectations and I came in with high ones. I was traveling solo for work and needed a proper reset between weeks, and this little corner of Ashford delivered in every way.From the moment I arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The space was immaculate, warm, and felt like a true home away from home, exactly what you want when you're on the road and craving something that isn't a hotel room.Being right on the doorstep of Mt. Rainier National Park was the ultimate bonus. I woke up, laced up my boots, and was inside the park within minutes. There's something deeply restorative about spending a few days in the mountains, and this place made it effortless.If you're looking for a solo getaway, whether for adventure, rest, or a little of both I can't recommend this place highly enough. I'm already thinking about coming back."

"The cabin is beautiful and close to walking trails. Our host was super communicative, helpful, and accommodating. I genuinely cannot have picked a better place to stay near the mountains!"

"We stayed at their Salal Cabin which is brand new & sits back in the woods. It is so adorable & comfortable. It has a fantastic heater system that keeps you the ideal temperature. The furnishings are so lovely. The reception staff was so kind & even provided us breakfast for the next day since there are no food establishments close by. The property is so beautiful with a pond & seating area to relax & enjoy the ducks & fish jumping. We will absolutely be returning. It is so close to Mt. Rainier entrance; we got into the park in minutes."

"It was such a beautiful and relaxing trip! Though it was a tiny home it was very spacious. It was so cute, lots of heaters (and fans/AC for warmer months), great hot tub, so pretty out with the snow and everything. It was so cute and I'd definitely come back! "

"This rustic and slightly dilapidated cabin was cozy, private, and very near the entrance to Mt Rainier Nat’l Park. :) The linens & towels were all very nice and clean, however, we would suggest using fragrance free laundry soap. The pillows were nice and the beds were comfortable, but on the firm side. The kitchen was missing any oven mitts and good cutting knives. We didn’t feel like the water was a strong mineral flavor, but then we ‘re on a well at home ;). The fireplace may be its best feature, but no wood provided. It was generally comfortable, however, we thought it a little over priced. When we walked in, onto a thread-bare carpet, the floor beneath gave way under our feet. The bathroom cabinet needs an upgrade. (See pics) The front side of the cabin is definitely settled so the floor is not level, making us feel off-balance walking down the hallway! The bedroom doors are propped open with door stops for this reason, or they would close of their own accord. The driveway access to the cabin was a bit sketchy and I can’t imagine doing it in winter. We’ll be looking for a more updated cabin next time we head to Ashford. Overall, we appreciated this stay on short notice. A sense of adventure and a sense of humor is needed here!"
