"We stayed both here and Many Glacier hotel while in East Glacier. The rooms here were definitely better than Many Glacier. But the view at Many Glacier is much better and there is more wildlife near Many Glacier. However, we were very happy with the accommodations here and would have been fine to stay at St Mary's the entire time and driven to the Many Glacier area as it wasn't a far drive."
"Loved this cabin! Absolutely perfect for my husband and I on our honeymoon. Clean room with everything we needed to enjoy over a week stay in the National Park. Will 100% stay here again."
"We stayed at Under Canvas near Glacier National Park in Coram, MT for a full week and had a fantastic experience. The accommodations were exactly as described—clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything we needed. I had read reviews beforehand and was aware of the nearby train noise, so I planned ahead and had no issues with it during our stay.
The true highlight was the staff—they were absolutely amazing. Lauren went above and beyond when I needed help starting the fire. She came to our tent and patiently walked me through the process until I felt confident. Thanks to her, I quickly became a pro! Keri was incredibly friendly and took the time to get to know us while helping with anything we needed. Scott was also wonderful—every morning he greeted us with a smile and was ready to assist.
All the staff we encountered were equally kind and accommodating, even if I didn’t catch all their names. When we requested extra blankets, they were delivered promptly, and I loved the daily text check-ins offering assistance or a light refresh. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were consistently clean.
This was our first Under Canvas experience, and it definitely won’t be our last!"
"Hotel is old and rustic. Could use updating. Bathroom was tiny. Paint was peeling on the door. Bathroom fan was noisy and the light didnt always come on."
"Staying at the Belton Chalet is being part of history. It’s a beautiful 100+ year old hotel. Please be realistic in your expectations, as there are no elevators and you are close to the old railway station - all part of the charm!
Muffins and coffee/tea at breakfast was a treat. We had our grandchildren with us and they loved the ping pong table, board games, etc at the Chalet.
And make your dinner reservation at the restaurant. It’s very nice.
This is our second time to stay here. Highly recommended it!"
Snowmoon Ranch with Views of Glacier National Park
10/10 Excellent
"Snow Moon Ranch was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property. Every direction offered a breathtaking view—tree-covered mountains, snow-capped peaks, peaceful water, and scenery that felt almost unreal. Whether it was sunshine, rain, cool mornings, or sunset, every moment was beautiful. The home itself was comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and perfect for our entire group. One detail we especially appreciated was the room stocked with toys and activities for the kids. Those extra touches made such a difference and helped make the stay enjoyable for everyone.Lindsey was an exceptional host—kind, responsive, and wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. What made this stay even more special is that Montana has always held a special place in our hearts. We chose Snow Moon Ranch as the gathering place for our family during our Montana elopement weekend, and it could not have been more perfect. From morning coffee overlooking the mountains to evenings around the campfire, this property provided the backdrop for some of the most meaningful moments of our lives. It reminded us exactly why we fell in love with Montana in the first place.Snow Moon Ranch wasn’t just a place to stay—it became part of our story. We can’t wait to come back.Thank you, Lindsey, for sharing such a beautiful piece of Montana with our family. "
