"We had a fabulous time at this cabin! The host was extremely responsive and helpful. The cabin itself was spotless and comfortable and we appreciated some of the amenities like some k pods, bug spray, beach towels, etc. The lake is truly beautiful and it is such a peaceful, serene setting. The proximity to Glacier National Park was perfect. I would highly recommend this property!"

"This is an amazing historic hotel right outside of glacier national. The Front desk staff were awesome; college kids from Lexington Kentucky. The on-site restaurant is fabulous. Joe can fix you up some great huckleberry cocktails. It’s a perfect place to stay when you’re in the area."

2 BD, 2B with Jet Bath Tub, Sauna, Sleeps 6, 2 minutes from West Glacier

8/10 Good
"The overall experience was good. The unit is clean, well maintained and offers easy access to the park. The bedrooms have plenty of space and the two full baths are very adequate. The kitchen is small but sufficient to cook meals and saves you from eating out every meal. On the negative side there are zero closets. It was 96 degrees the day we arrived and there is no air conditioning. There is a unit on the wall that says cooling and heat but there isn't a vent anywhere. Radiator wall units for heat in the winter months. Not used of course. The unit is right on highway 2. Road noise and the night club down the street were unbearable on Saturday evening. Spot light comes on after dark and shines directly in your face at the sitting area on the lower level which makes sitting outside after dark very unpleasant. There are three rentals all at the same location. The bottom floor, where we were. One on the third floor and another small house around the back of the main building. Wasn't a big deal other than some clunking around upstairs at times. Washer and dryer can be heard running next to the kitchen but are not accessible for the unit. Door says employees only. As noted the proximity to the park is fantastic. You can get up early and beat the rush easily. Traffic was backed up past the unit on a Tuesday after sleeping in and we waited for it to pass. You can enter the park for a late afternoon run to Lake McDonald or anywhere you want to go."

8/10 Good
"Stayed here for 2 nights in July with family. Positives: Gorgeous setting. Swiss-like esthetics. Loved that you could walk to the trails and not worry about finding parking before beginning our hike(s). Ate at the lounge restaurant and it was very good. Also thrilled to have a coffee shop, snack shop available. If able to, go to dinner one night at the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn restaurant (just a couple minutes away driving) then walk down to Fishcap Lake (nicknamed Moose Lake). It’s about a 5-10 min easy walk. We visited this lake 3 times and saw moose 2 of those times. When visiting after dinner around 7, it was like the animals were paid actors. Deer all around, birds, beaver swimming, and a huge, bull moose. One of the highlights of the trip! Negatives: a small hike is necessary to get to the parking lot. There is not dedicated guest parking, so during the day the lot fills fast due to others not staying at Many Glacier wanting to use the easily accessible trails. During the day, it is hard to find parking. It was not a problem when we left for dinner and returned in the evening. Our room had a balcony but the bench and floorboards were covered in bird poop so not really usable. Shower was tiny and room definitely was warm for sleeping with no AC (but expected—it is July at a national park lodge, afterall)"
