It was a great experience. It is a very cozy and clean bungalow at a great location. Our extended family enjoyed a lot. Great kitchen set up , laundry , tons of towels.
Beautiful cottage away from it all on the water. One of my favorite VRBOs. Location was serene and exactly what I was looking for. Loved every moment of our stay.
This house is absolutely so beautiful! This house felt loved and perfectly stocked for visitors. It was so spacious and comfortable. I wish the weather was a little warmer for the kayaks, but we’ll just have to come back soon!
When I say this home, location, and ambience was perfect, I mean it! The tranquility of the area, the beautifully renovated home, and the peace all of us felt was just what we all hoped for in this vacation. 4 adults and 3 children….we had plenty of space, area to explore, and the view was breathtaking! Inside and out!
Very well kept inviting and clean property. The spacious dining room table and kitchen granite counter space made cooking and gathering opportunities much easier. Beautiful sunset views over the frozen lake with a gorgeous view of the Northern Lights.
The Bayside bungalow was a wonderful rental. Everything was very clean and up to date. Check in and out was a breeze. Geese, ducks, and cranes were the entertainment for our pups. They made sure to keep guard at all times :) Thank you!!
My family of four plus our two doggies enjoyed our week stay in this gorgeous home for our first trip to Michigan! The view couldn’t be beat! We could see Mackinac Island in the distance. The home was well-stocked with all your basic needs plus some extras. We enjoyed having the kayaks. While it was in a small town, we were able to drive 20 min or less to get to good food and historic sites.

Beautiful water view and very clean spacious home. We were 4 adults and 3 children, 2 dogs. Two types of coffee makers with pods and grounds for guests, comfortable beds, sufficient bath towels and dish towels. Outside deck has a covered and an open section with comfortable seating.
The property management company answered my many questions in a timely fashion.
We thoroughly enjoyed the pose of this home.
This home is even more beautiful than the photos, with every attention to detail paid to insure guests are comfortable.
Beautifully decorated, clean, with everything you need. Loved the coffee cart, the reading nooks on both floors, and the views of the sunsets were amazing.
It was all we could have hoped for and more. Our highest recommendation!
Gorgeous property and so well equipped, with all the extras from kayaks to a basket of throw blankets for chilly nights to the double coffee pot station to the well stocked kitchen (tons of toddler friendly dishes and utensils!) The firepit and marshmallow sticks were perfect! This property was nice and clean too. The only thing missing was an ice cream scoop!
We so appreciated this dog friendly home, and especially extra dog towels in the cupboard, as our dogs loved swimming!
Relax sitting by the fire-pit watching sunsets, next to the water.
Stargazing nights and quiet days is what we had while staying here. We loved this cute home/cottage and it had everything we needed.
This home is secluded, on the water, watching beautiful sunsets, a great place to bring your dog if they enjoy water.
Our stay was for one week and we could have stayed longer. The house and the outside area was perfect for our lady getaway. We have traveled and stayed in six VRBO this year and this one is on the top of my list.
It is a beautiful secluded location to watch the sunsets, birds build a large bonfire, ( there was plenty of wood, thanks! )and Watch the stars come out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This house is amazing. Tara has payed attention to every detail. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and it is perfectly clean.
We had an excellent stay at the Bayside Bungalow! The space was absolutely lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed being right on the water. It was very nice to have kayaks available to use. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!
Really enjoyed the view! We saw so many beautiful Sunsets looking out the windows while relaxing inside. The wind was howling outside but we were so warm and comfortable inside. Very cozy bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Looking forward to coming back next year!
Our stay was wonderful as it was a true getaway. This home was tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and well equipped for a family group to rest, relax, tour the UP, and cook family meals. We would definite stay here again.
We loved staying at this beautiful spot. Hessel has a fabulous farmers market with delicious vendors and the drive to the Mackinac Island Ferry was super easy! Wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back!
