"I was at Haven, formerly Hotel Schmidt-Monique in Bochum for 8-days. I arrived 25-minutes before the “official” check-in time and was told I could check-in early for €20. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and everything felt modern and well-kept. Plus, the location near the station made getting around super convenient. I’d definitely stay here again! "

"The Ibis Style Gelsenkirchen is an excellent choice for convenience, located just a 5-minute walk from Gelsenkirchen main station. The room was quite large, clean, and comfortable, complete with a working desk and wardrobe. Be aware, however, that there is no mini-fridge or tea/coffee facilities.
