Great, spacious property in a very good central location. Felt very secure and safe. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Well equipped - would be even better with a washing machine. The only negative is that it was quite noisy with traffic outside all 3 nights we were there - which is odd as it isn’t on a main road. But cars seemed to be going past and stopping with their engines running throughout the night. Lots of great restaurants in easy walking distance but we loved Rossi’s Italian the most. Coastal path is a fantastic walk and we also visited the 3 part museum which was worth’s look s very cheap. We drove to Gansbaai for the Dyer Island whale watching boat trip which was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately no land based whale spotting whilst we were here

Lovely apartment in excellent location

The apartment was really nicely furnished and was a nice area to spend some time in the evenings. The location is excellent - 2 mins walk from the main restaurants and whale watching spots (on the cliff walk)

Myself and the family was dissapointed.

Because of the price being R 2900 for one night we were disappointed with the following. No internet ; Satellite did not work the following morning ; Could not get the air conditioner to heat up the lounge area. Also ; there was a huge amount of water streaming through a downlighter fitting which meant we were up with bowls of water.

Beautiful apartment but lift did not work for our whole stay of 7 nights, despite the manager trying hard to have it fixed. Owners of these apartments must address this!

A quick walk to the water

The Apartment was very clean and nicely furnished. It is a quick walk to the water for whale watching. I was mislead by the picture in the advertisement as it is really an office building as opposed to an apartment building and stuffed behind other buildings. No scenrary at all. Had I known this I would have chosen a different location. I also did not care for the two floors. Do not recall it stating that in its add.

Convenient and spacious apartment

I enjoyed my stay. The apartment is beautiful and modern and includes all of the basic utensils, plates, pots and pans...etc to make some simple meals. It's located less than a block from 2 grocery stores where we stocked up on food for our stay. It's also just a few minutes walk from the coast, downtown and lots of restaurants. The location is great. The only negative about the location is that the area right around the hotel is really dark and empty once the mall closes. The staff were really nice and helpful, especially Wilma at the front desk. The wifi is weak. It was fine for checking email but not much else.

Sweet suite

Nice suite well appointed. Pity about the stairs - two flights of tiled non-ergonomically designed stairs which were hard to go up and down easily without slipping but good handrails. Bed comfortable. Noise factor not good. Otherwise a very good stay. Staff great and very helpful indeed. Michael who checked me was a honey and the girls on the reception the following days were really kind. One took my laundry for me and brought it back too....

Overnight stay at Herminus

Stayed overnight at Herminus on the way to Capetown. Reception was quick and friendly. Appartment was in graet shape as well as very roomy, comfortable, and well equipped. Beds nice and firm. The kitchen had everything needed - Supermarket is just across the street to stock up on bkfst essentials. Highly recommended for families. Great value.

Comfortable, central and convenient.

Very comfortable. Central location made it very handy to supermarkets, shops, restaurant and beach. We did not need to take our car anywhere. Kitchen adequately equipped.

Contemporary, luxurious, spacious - loved it!

These apartments right in the middle of the shopping area of Hermanus are roomy, beautifully built & finished to a very high standard with premium bathroom fittings & furnishings. The huge balcony at our apartment was great for relaxing on especially in the mornings. There ,was also car parking space for two cars in a Secure underground park beneath the complex. We were two couples in this apartment & the positioning of the bedrooms on different floors afforded us privacy yet we had a sociable shared space which was huge. We loved it for all of these reasons, also the contemporary furnishings, the instant hot water and the range of TV channels. However, we were a bit fortunate as much to our disappointment we had NO WiFi in our rooms, the air conditioning in the upper bedroom didn't work for all of our first day & night and the safe wouldn't work electronically either. As a result we spent our first afternoon looking for solutions, rather than being outside relaxing. We were given two huge fans which worked well, closed the safe manually after the technician failed to sort the electronic problem & we had to stand in the public area to get internet connection intermittently. We didn't let any of these failings spoil our holiday as we loved the apartment so much, but nonetheless these issues need addressing for the convenience of guests. I must stress that the staff were very helpful in trying to fix the above as soon as reported but they were unable to resolve them.
