Abalone Guest House is great. Excellent welcome and hospitality. Good location overlooking the ocean towards Voelklip about 5k to the east of Hermanus.

Amazing service, views, access to the cliffs and town. The rooms were comfortable and quiet! We would highly recommend and would not consider staying anywhere else. So accommodating and friendly, service with a smile. Spa was great and very reasonable! Definitely do at least one dinner with their chef who customized meals to freshest available! Only wish we could have stayed longer!

The Abalone Lodge is a beautiful property in a magnificent setting overlooking a captivating seascape with a private gate leading to walking paths. The staff was amazing, the food was gourmet level including the breakfast choices. The rooms are very comfortable. I would love to stay here again but next time for whale season. The Aboline Lodge is definitely the perfect place to stay for whale watching or any time when you need to relax and be pampered.

A wonderful stay in Hermanus

A beautiful property in a great location overlooking the Cliff Path Walk that takes you directly to Hermanus. A view to die for. During whale season - you can see whales out in the bay from your room. Wonderful and gracious service. Excellent breakfast’s and spectacular art work throughout the property. Was everything we hoped for and more. The staff was great and arranged all our area activities. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Beautiful property facing the Fynbos and the Ocean at Hermanus. Clear view of the Southern Right whales during whale season located in one of the best spots to see them as well. Steps to the beautiful Cliff Path walk for a morning or afternoon walk and 10 minutes by car to the center of town. Couldn’t be better located in my opinion. The entire staff is ready to help you with anything you need and fully interested in providing you a warm welcoming experience. The breakfast options every morning is also fantastic. I highly recommend.

Relaxing

Newly renovated modern place with many advance technical futures ,clean and crispy comfortable bed spacious parking, friendly staff and delicious meals. It's also a spa. Back gate will take you to the edge of the ocean where you can sit on the benches and watch sunset or contemplate. Loved the place.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit Blick aufs Meer.

Geräumige, saubere Zimmer, super schön und funktionell eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Hatten ein Gartenzimmer mit einer schönen Terasse und ein wenig Meerblick. Der Gästebereich mit Lounge, Kühlschrank und Terasse ist sehr schön. Alles Super.
