The Van Gogh Suites is one of our four rooms.

The Van Gogh suite hosts a soft comfy queen size bed, its own private bathroom, smart TV, mini fridge, coffee maker, and a wonderful "Starry" feel to accommodate two people. You'll find yourself immersed in the spirit of the Dutch post-impressionist, with dreamy, starry nightscapes and swirling motifs. The Van Gogh suite is carefully crafted to represent the unmatched talent of Vincent Van Gogh. You will not be disappointed with your stay at this creative property, which also hosts an art gallery and studio next door. All four rooms are located on the second floor, sharing a hallway in our beautiful brick building, constructed in the late 1800's. Spend your time on our private patio - relaxing in the sun or under the stars.

The Artist Suites (VanGogh room) was wonderful! You can’t beat the location; we could walk to everything we needed! The room offered a mini fridge and coffee bar; perfect for a cozy weekend stay! My husband and I love visiting Hermann for the food, drinks and shopping and the Artist Suites is walkable to all of it!

Perfect location!

My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary in Hermann and stayed here for the night. It was the perfect location! In walking distance to bars and restaurants. It had a ton of charm and the check in process was easy as can be! We will definitely stay here again!

A great option for Hermann!

The place was exactly how it is listed online. Great location, easy to access, good value. I'd recommend staying here. The only thing to note is the bed is extremely soft. I'm a little older and need a firmer mattress to sleep well.

I received confirmation of my reservation from VRBO, my credit card was charged, and I received a response from the host to an inquiry. However, when we arrived the check-in person had no record of our reservation in their system. Fortunately the room was not double-booked and we were able to check in. We arrived on bicycles and they provided indoor storage for our bikes. The room was clean, although we discovered a used wash rag hanging from the shower caddy. Biggest complaint was the bed was soft and squeaky. Trust me. The battery in the HVAC remote was low, and the battery in the clock was dead. There was a very informative three ring binder of information on the property and the local area. A good addition would be instructions for the HVAC remote, which was not intuitive. The stairs and hallway were a little loud but unavoidable in such an old, quaint building. The deck immediately outside our room would have been loud on a nice evening but was not a factor as it was a cold night. Overall, we would stay here again, but there are a few tweaks that could improve the experience.
