"The carbon monoxide detector was chirping when we arrived due to a low battery.I had to contact the host when I arrived for the key code, which I’ve never had to do before. I was concerned since I arrived extremely early in the AM, however the host promptly answered the phone and provided the code. I was asked to keep lights to a minimum which I thought was strange. Several windows were open and the heat/ac was turned off. I had to go around closing and locking all the windows in order to secure the property and use the heater. The fridge was unplugged, had a fowl smell, and had melted popsicles and mold in the freezer. The house had an unpleasant musky odor.There were used washcloths in the bathtub.The host did kindly work with me and adjusted my stay for me after I booked. I believe the host would have worked with me if I would have voiced my concerns during my stay. But overall the property served its purpose and allowed me and my daughters a place to stay while we visited family. "

"Home was very clean and just as described and shown in pictures. Host was easy to communicate with. Home is very close to restaurants and stores. Will definitely stay again when in the area. "

"Communication was good, check in easy. The air conditioner did not work. The house was 80-82 degrees the whole stay. The host responded quickly to the problem by sending a technician to look at the unit. He was not able to fix the unit. The only solution the host offered was to open the windows. She did not offer a discount due to the uncomfortable conditions however she did agree there should be one after I asked. She would not give an idea of what the discount would be until she heard from the cleaners, which had nothing to do with the air conditioner not working. She found something pink on the wall and sheet (eye shadow) said it washed off the wall but not the sheet and would be deducting the replacement cost of the sheet from the discount which was fine. Finally after asking 2 days in a row, she gives a long list of reasons she would not be giving a discount... Replacing the sheet, paying extra to the cleaners, how much VRBO gets, etc. Do not recommend. "

"VERY NICE HOME AND AREA… STAYED HERE DURING A FUNERAL ARRANGEMENT BUT MADE THE BEST OF IT.. UNAWARE OF SUPPLIES SO BOUGHT A FEW NEEDED ITEMS BUT OKAY… HOST WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE MY LONGER STAY NEEDS… WOULD DEFINITELY RENT AGAIN… HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"

"Nice stay"

"I found the house to be pretty great and I recommend the house to anyone looking. This house provides lots of space for multi-family stays or for people who want to be able to spread out while vacationing together. We had initially planned for 20 people, but a couple families ended up not being able to make it so we had up to 10 people at the house. Even with the lower number we enjoyed the house. With the 3 living rooms available there was the ability to play video games or watch movies in different locations, which was really nice. A big back yard with pretty lights outside, the fire pit was great. We were only able to have one fire in the fire pit due to not having time since we had other activities planned, but it was a nice time with the fire.The bed I had was nice and no one complained about the bed they slept in, so I count that as a positive. :-)Washer and dryer were nice and worked fine. We just used the main kitchen during our entire stay and it was stocked with the various cooking and eating things we needed. There are 3 kitchens total. The two kitchens we did not use were a "simpler" style kitchen, but they each had a fridge, stove, sink, dishes...the usual things needed for a kitchen. We found activities in the area to do including but not limited to the Casey Jones Distillery tour and bottle making activity, the MB Rolland bottle making activity, the Tennessee Smelting and Ingot Activity, as well as various restaurants, shops and arcades."

"Unfortunately we were unable to make the trip this time, however, we’ve stayed several times and it’s always been wonderful. Super clean, beautiful landscape, and property management has always been so gracious. We will definitely be staying here again our next trip down. "
