It’s a little paradise nestled in a quaint, idyllic setting—a retreat for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With a stunning view of the lake, this 100-square-meter holiday home accommodates five people and a toddler up to two years old (in a travel cot). Your beloved four-legged friend is also welcome here. The lovingly furnished Hygge Hus spans two floors. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and feel at ease. The large, floor-to-ceiling windows make the house light and bright. Natural tones and plenty of white give the space an airy atmosphere. Modern living design in the Scandinavian country house style creates that typical “hygge” cosiness. On the ground floor, there is a spacious living-dining room. Whether it’s a flat-screen TV or a crackling fire in the wood-burning stove—the choice is yours. It’s sure to be romantic on the cosy sofa arrangement. A small play area is located under the stairs leading to the upper floor. However, the heart of a home is often the dining table. It’s the gathering place for the whole family—a spot where people eat, drink, laugh, and share stories. Enjoy your meals at the beautiful solid-wood table with a view of the garden and the lake. The vintage tiles, an extravagant lamp design, and the accessories lend this space even more charm. From the living room, you can step out onto the sun terrace. It’s a wonderful place to relax. It’s also perfect for barbecuing, as there’s a charcoal grill in the garden. The kitchen opens onto the living room—separated by a small counter with stylish Charles Ghost bar stools that make you feel like you’re floating. Here you’ll find everything a cook’s heart desires. State-of-the-art brand-name appliances, such as an induction stove, a dishwasher, a coffee machine (Nespresso), and much more, make every task a breeze. Elegant tableware is stored in the cabinets. The upper floor is equally well-balanced and meticulously designed. Here you’ll find two cosy bedrooms—both furnished with a double box-spring bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m and 1.60 m x 2.00 m). One of the two bedrooms also features a single box-spring bed (0.90 m x 2.00 m) for a fifth guest. Whether it’s the rocking chair with a view of Lake Schmollensee or the many beautiful accessories—you’ll feel right at home here. Built-in closets provide plenty of storage space. One of the two bedrooms opens onto a quaint little balcony. The spacious, naturally lit bathroom features a bathtub, a sink, and a toilet. On the ground floor, there is another bathroom with a shower and toilet. The house includes a bike shed and a parking space. Upon your arrival, the beds will be made and towels will be provided. There is one parking space on the property. To bring the beach even closer, you can use a free parking spot in Heringsdorf (Neuer Weg).
