"We have stayed in this cottage before and absolutely love it. It’s clean and tidy and has everything you need for a stay. The location is perfect for walking and seeing the sites around Symonds Yat . The Cottage is on quite steep Hill so if you have any mobility issues it might be hard for you. It is so tranquil and peaceful the host is polite and communication easy we will definitely be back again ."

"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

"With two other couples the house provided a magical setting for a fantastic weekend. The accommodation and garden were wonderful. Dining on the battlements & barbecuing under the stars. Walks in the surrounding countryside are just lovely, including to the gardens for the main house and over to the amazing ‘Under the nut tree’ and great Sunday lunch at Angel Inn. An unforgettable stay!"

The local pubs were good value and staff very accommodating lThe cottage itself was very clean and had all you would require for a short stay."
