Two bedroom cottage near beautiful Herbster beach.

Our cottage has two bedrooms each with a queen size bed. There is a bathroom with a shower on the main floor and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. It also has a toaster and coffee maker. There is a dining room that seats six and a living room with an electric fireplace and cable television. It also has WIFI. Upstairs is the second bedroom and a half bath. In the front of the house, there is a screen porch with seating perfect for morning coffee. It has a back deck and a large yard with a fire ring, firewood and chairs. We also have a charcoal grill and a picnic table. The cottage is within walking distance of Herbster and beautiful Lake Superior. Lenawee Rd. is open to atvs and snowmobiles and is near both trails.

Relaxing Place

This is a great place that was very clean and had all amenities needed for a fine stay. The kitchen is large and well stocked with utensils for cooking. Very private with a huge backyard and about 1/4 mile from a really fine beach at Lake Superior.

Herbster Cottage

Such a lovely place to stay. We stayed for a week. Very close to many amazing hiking trails and close proximity to Lake Superior and some very nice shops. The Cottage was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We were able to easily contact the host with any questions that came up. Totally loved the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded Expectations

A very beautiful, clean, and relaxing get-a-way. The location, Herbster, was perfect for day trips to Bay Field, Washburn, Cornacopia . . . We enjoyed watching the Super Moon near the fire ring. The rental was a perfect setting for the annual Girls' Trip. I highly recommend a stay at this cottage.

Impeccable in every way

From the moment you enter the screened in porch every detail was impressive. The decor was beatiful without being fussy. Warm and inviting, like being at home only better. We alway appreciate a beautiful, quiet setting for our home base as we explore the shores of Lake Superior and after 12 years of searching we feel we have have found it. Will be booking for next year for a longer stay.

Cleanest VRBO ever

Those is the best designed, best appointed, cleanest place we've been. Host was immediately responsive to communication. The only slight down side is that Herbster is a non- town. You won't be able to buy even bare necessities in town. So come prepared.

Private getaway close to Lake Superior

Our group of 4 enjoyed Ambers home very much! Everything was spotless and there was so much provided in the way of amenities. The home is so new and inviting and the backyard is quite private! Loved the beds with such nice space in the bedrooms. Amber provided a fan upon request as our MN nights were warm and sticky. The upstairs bedroom being the only one with an A/C unit, just so you know. I would definitely recommend this stay to others :)

Relaxing stay in Herbster

This was our first time staying at this property by second time to the Herbster area. We love the quietness of the area but also a short drive to Bayfield, Cornucopia and many other sites. The property itself was very clean, just as pictured and well stocked with supplies you need. Our group consisted of 4 adults and two kids. We loved having both a front and back deck, bathrooms up and down stairs and just the right amount of space to spread out. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

Such a lovely place

We has such a lovely time at this spot! It was very clean and new. This house is on a very quiet road and we had no problem sleeping! The kids enjoyed the quiet Herbster beach nearby. We had dinner one night in Cornucopia, which is close. Also it was also close enough to enjoy all the fun of Bayfield, which we visited twice while we were there. I appreciated how the owners left us alone and didn't have a million rules all over the place. Thanks!

Cozy Cottage

My family and I stayed in the cottage for the weekend because we had a wedding to go to in Bayfield. The cottage was beautiful and very cozy, we felt confortable and right at home. It was immaculate and had everything we needed. We enjoyed a nice bonfire in the yard and made s'mores. The sky was so clear we could see the stars perfectly. Spent the morning sitting out in the screened in porch and watched the deer and listened to nature. I absolutely loved everything about it. We definately will return!

Exceptional property and host

We just returned from a two night stay at the Herbster Cottage. Our group was 4 adults (2 couples). The set up for us was fantastic — New construction, 1.5 baths, modern kitchen, a short walk to Lake Superior, top notch decorating. This is our second stay and it was just as clean and perfect this time as our last stay. If you are a clean-freak you will love this place - it looks like no one else has ever stayed here. VRBO does not have enough stars to accurately rate this cottage. Amber’s attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. Thanks for a great stay!

Great property!

Property was so clean and had pretty much all the comforts of home a family/group would need on site, and then some. The property grounds were also well kept. Our stay at the property was really nice! The only thing that would have been nice is if the downstairs would have had an AC unit or ceiling fan in the living or dining area. There was a small window a/c unit in the upstairs bedroom but the lower level was a little stuffy at times. Lucky the humidity lowered after the first night and were able to move a floor fan that was onsite around based on the room we were gathered in on the lower level which helped a lot. Would definitely consider staying again or recommend the property if the area.

Lovely Northern WI Vacation Home

My sisters and I spent two nights in this wonderful home in northern WI. While we didn't walk to the shore of Lake Superior, it was close (probably a 15 minute walk). The shore is sandy and outstanding views. The house comfortably fits 4, although realize there are only two queen beds. One of us slept on a blow-up mattress we brought along. The house is well supplied and the kitchen lacks nothing at all. The screen porch is a real bonus. Because we used a blow-up mattress, we had our own bedding for that. There were no additional blankets or pillows available. A gas grill might be easier to use but we did muster our way through with charcoal and managed to grill dinner. A quiet place to stay and within 30 minutes of Bayfield. Checking in and out was very easy.

Relaxing Getaway

My wife and I spent a peaceful two-night stay in this cozy, clean, and comfortable cabin just outside the Lake Superior village of Herbster. Upon arrival we were greeted by fresh air and the sound of wind in the trees. The cabin was easy to get into and was just what we needed after a long drive. Big east facing windows made for perfect morning sunrises. Located near the center of the Wisconsin's Lake Superior shore it was easy to spend the days exploring the area -- perhaps hiking or biking nearby trails, kayaking on the lake, or relaxing on the nearby beach. In the evening we could return to the cabin to unwind by the firepit in the back yard and enjoy the starry night away from city lights. The peacefulness of nature makes it easy to rest and recharge. Inside the cabin the beds were soft and clean, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the cozy living room was perfect for watching movies (WiFi was great) or playing games. The sense of calm and connection to nature makes it a perfect escape for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of Northern Wisconsin. Would definitely recommend and return to if necessary.
