We are located near the end of Bark Point overlooking Lake Superior and the Western Apostle Islands with Bark's Bay. This is the perfect private getaway for a Family Vacation right on Lake Superior. Excellent view of the Lake. The house had every amenity you could need. Great space, plenty of room. Hosts are amazing!

Great property. Great venue. Great views.

Our family of 8 adults and 4 children under 6 were extremely comfortable at this property. The kitchen/dining/gathering room was more than ample. The dining area seated the entire family. The HUGE couch seated the crew as well. The kitchen is wonderful and multiple refrigerators really help. The yard is well kept and very inviting. We had a great week!

Our group of 11 all enjoyed the Superior views, plenty of beds, and the unique design of the home. The kitchen lacked nothing and the native wildlife was on display. Excellent property, highly recommend.

Fall Family Getaway

The prosperity is very spacious and has separate spaces for multiple families, beautiful views of the lake and an awesome well stocked kitchen! We enjoyed grilling and a bon fire overlooking the lake. We loved the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks, and are looking forward to be back next year!

Lake Superior family vacation 2024

Out of the way location- on Lake Superior. The layout of the place is unusual, but everyone had a place to sleep. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook our meals. If you're lucky enough to have clear skies you will see a awesome sunrise.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time with our whole family over Thanksgiving. The house was spacious with plenty of room to both spend time together and spread out to get a little space. The host was really responsive and helpful. The house did feel a little bit like a maze to start with but was okay once you got use to it.

Our family and friends from Germany had a wonderful time staying in this lovely home in a beautiful setting. The area is so peaceful and the house so well equipped! We were really impressed and grateful for all the extra nice touches the hosts included. We usually need an extensive supply run after checking in but that was not necessary this time. Lots of peace and quiet

This was a great property. Lots of room to move around. The neighborhood was very quiet - we only saw one car go past the house in 4 days. The crows nest was a wonderful spot to sit and watch Lake Superior. We could hear the lake from our windows every night. A few good hiking spots nearby like Meyers Beach. I would definitely book again.

Amazing home, space, view, people to work with! The owner Luke was almost instantly responsive to any questions or info I needed. I've never stayed in a vrbo that was that well-stocked with EVERYTHING. And the view was breathtakingly magnificent. The cleaner Renee couldn't have been nicer or more helpful with all of our questions and needs. I give Luke, his staff and home a thousand stars!

Family vacation

Fantastic views of the lake. I'm sure sunrises are amazing, but you have to get up pretty early to see it😂 this property is very well stocked with everything you may need for your stay. The baby gates on the stairs were very much appreciated as we had small kids with us. The layout of the house was a little funky, but once we got used to it, it was fine. There was plenty of room for everyone to have the space they needed. We had a great vacation! Managers were very quick to get back to us with any questions or concerns we had. It was quite buggy outside, but could have just been a hatch this time of year bring near the water. We had a great time and are glad we chose this property for our family vacation!

Big place - Great Hosts

Our stay here was fantastic, just missed mud season which made it even better. Great outdoor lot as well here, roomy backyard for our K9's and frisbee, pretty private, fire at the pit, great lakefront to get down to via a static rope, lots of shoreline got explored! More than enough room inside the place, we only ended up using half of it! Well stocked with dishes, seasonings, towels, blankets, plenty of kitchen utensils (pots/pans/everything) sometimes you don't get this at vrbo's, paper towels, kleenex, grill was full of LP. Real comfortable inside, roomy. Has a nice porch out back, a nice upper deck, nice screened in porch, all with seating. To top it off the owners are great, super responsive, they take care of their place and it shows. We had a great time and will more than likely be back. Thanks for having us Luke!

Wonderful Lake Superior spot to escape

This “cabin” by the lake is great for small or large groups. The location is on the water (listen to the waves) with a spectacular sunrise orientation. It is remote, but we loved it as it was ideally located for the activities we enjoy - bike riding (check out trails in Duluth and north shore), kayaking (Cornucopia and Washburn), hiking, and relaxing with the sound of the waves. The cabin is well appointed and has the most spectacular kitchen that is well stocked with cookware and great knives that actually do the job when slicing and dicing. (We stay in a lot of rentals, and this usually is not the case.) Cornucopia, Apostle Islands, and Bayfield are all excellent. Plus, we found a great pup sitter in the general area via Rover.com for our Mylo when we were out with activities he couldn’t join in on. Also, if you are there in the summer, Bayfield has an amazing collection of produce/fruit stands. Iron River has an exceptional meat market (Jim’s). And, be sure to enjoy a Friday fish fry if you are in the area. We were there almost two weeks. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful spot on Lake Superior! The setting was peaceful and the views were amazing. Our friends from out of state had a blast. Perfect house for our family vacation

Everything about this house was great, plenty of room for my family of 9, location to local towns and the Apostle Islands, communication with property owner, and beautiful views of the lake! I really appreciate all of the extra towels and bedding because other VRBO’s are sometimes not so generous. We also loved the abundance of seating in the great room, we’ve been to several homes that only seat a few when the home sleeps 10-15, so that was fantastic. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
