Luxurious and rustic hotel accommodation offering a modern and spacious harbour view room with a split-level lounge and bedroom areas and a full-size electric fireplace; uninterrupted water views from our room’s hillside location overlooking Macquarie Harbour and the fjord; our well-appointed room was near the exit and was equipped with a comfortable king-size bed and a pillow menu that caters to different levels of sleeping comfort; I am a return customer having stayed here before and NRMA member for over 23 years, and at long last, I felt pretty special for finally being rewarded with an upgrade to a premium harbour view room; the good customer service and the five-star quality of room amenities are well worth the money if $370-400 a night is within your budget; I would love to visit Strahan and stay here again if I am fortunate enough to live another 10-15 years!

A fantastic tiny home experience. Cosy, warm and comfortable, we went to sleep with a view of the stars and only the sounds of the wallabies on their nocturnal wanderings.

This was a historic stay. We loved the tiny details and felt like we had stepped back in time to a Jane Austen novel. Highly recommend for people who love old mansions. I taught my daughters about encyclopaedias - the google of yore - and we also loved watching the spirit of Tasmania berth.
