Newly Restored Vintage Cabin near Bryce, Grand Staircase. Great views!
New Listing! 1940's era restored farmhand/cowboy bunkhouse. Its rustic exterior was retained to exemplify its age and origins, but the inside has been updated and remodeled for your comfort. One bedroom, bath, living room w/ kitchenette. Be advised that the all-original ceiling logs have a clearance (head room) of 6'-5", and are spaced every 30", so if you are taller than 6'-4" this would be uncomfortable for you.
The cabin is located on our small farm in the south end of Henrieville valley. The farm originally belonged to my great-grandfather Harry Quilter, (hence the name Quilter Cabin) and changed hands several times over the years, until finally I was able to pick up this portion of the original farm. The previous owners of my property lived in this 385 square foot cabin for seven years while building their strawbale homestead next door, where the property manager (our son) now lives.

The cabin is adorable, cozy, private, and clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need to make simple meals. There is also an abundance of toiletries, in case you were not able to bring them. The owner communicated in a timely manner and the manager was welcoming.
Perfect semi-remote cabin for a Bryce/Kodachrome vacation. Very clean and well cared for/supplied. We didn't want for anything. We could rise and enjoy a cup of coffee with an amazing view off the porch and then head out for the day of hiking. Return for a cozy relaxing evening and enjoy a sunset, amazing view of the milky way/darksky and the quiet we can't find at home.
Great place, very clean and comfortable! Has rustic charm and is out in the country. Definitely need to follow owners directions and try to find it before dark as our “Google directions” were not accurate. We stayed 2 nights and used it as a base when visiting Bryce Canyon. Amazing stars outside at night! Comfy bed and good, hot showers!! Really appreciated the mini fridge! It does take about 25-30 min to drive to Bryce Canyon park. The Pizza Place in Tropic(on drive back from Bryce Canyon) has awesome pizza!

Very cozy and comfortable cabin in the woods! Perfect spot to stay over for a few nights while at Bryce!
The cabin was so adorable. Wished i had one in my backyard! The view was beautiful. We had deer right outside our door. The road to the cabin was a little sketchy, but the owner emailed very detailed directions, as Google maps misdirected. The cabin had all the little amenities like shower soap, dish soap, dinnerware, etc.
We enjoyed our 2 nights at the vintage cabin. The amenities provided in the kitchenette were an unexpected added touch. The decor was so appropriate with the variety of quilts, homemade curtains and such. Good directions provided as well.
We absolutely loved this property, it’s remote and simple but couldn’t have been better is we wanted it to be. Loved the little touches like coffee, eggs, pancake mix and other fixings. This ia no Marriott but it’s perfect for a place to rest and crash each night! Plus is sooo quiet!
Overall the cabin was exactly as advertised, and upon arrival it was so much more quaint and comfortable than we thought. We will definitely stay there again if we're ever going to visit the area again.
This was an excellent home base for exploring Bryce Canyon NP for several days! It's very private, is well-appointed, is cozy, has great evening views off of the back porch, and was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.
The drive between Bryce Canyon National park and the rental was lovely every time we drove it, little to no traffic and views to write home about. So glad we stayed at the cozy clean Quilters Cabin.
Overall, I had a great stay. The cabin was isolated, but the inside was beautiful and clean. I have no complaints, it was an easy check in and was a little hard to find, but I got clear instructions to help me find my way.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful place while visiting Bryce Canyon. It is very peaceful with birding from the back deck on an orchard and an amazing view of the mountains. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and the hospitality was wonderful.
This cozy cabin was the perfect retreat from the heat and crowds of the national parks. It was set up for us to prepare meals and directions to near by sites like Kodachrome. It was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed sunrise views from the deck and the wide open dark skies at night. Following Milt's directions brought us right to the cabin. It was better than pictured.
We enjoyed this cozy cabin. We had family who were camping at Kodachrome Basin State Park and this location was perfect for meeting up during the day. The cabin was clean and well stocked and we were very comfortable there.
