"We were in town for the Race Across Scotland - crew stayed here throughout the week, and two of us who ran it were here after we finished. Was a close drive to Cocksburnpath, and to other surrounding areas. Great spot for 4 folks, and having laundry was a huge bonus. Lovely property."

"The cottage is next to the main road. No staying up late in bed in the mornings, the road noise woke us up from 7am. Quiet at night. The location is good, very central to explore Northumberland. Cottage well equipped, especially the kitchen. Communication was good with host. Good options for restaurants (3 within walking distance) and take aways, Coop and Budgens in the village. "

"We enjoyed our stay, it’s very cosy and is in a serene location which is very private. Would definitely return. Hot tub was great. The only things I would change is the windows could’ve been clean as it obscures the beautiful view and the festoon lights did not come on when it got dark. We weren’t able to access the WiFi - if we were staying longer that would’ve been more of an issue. The bed area is so cosy it would’ve been nice to be able to get into a Netflix series or film on an evening. Would be happy to bring my dog next time as it was secure. "
