A good place for a short rest.. Some loud music, sometimes playing in the bar downstai…. Internet problem, but it doesn't matter to me… The area is rich in beaches, but you need to take good shoes with you, because there are a lot of stones ... in which you can find fossils ...⛏️🐚

The room was clean but dated, the mattress on the bed was too soft. I had a pleasant stay but was informed on arrival the restaurant wouldn't be open for dinner and I was presented with 3 choices to eat in the bar area. Accommodated the dog very well.

A very comfortable family run hotel, in a quaint street. Room was adequate, with a comfortable bed...always my top requirement. Shower good. Only went in the bar once, but friendly in there. Breakfast, ordered the night before, was excellent, again friendly waitress. A good bargain stay. The owner chatted to me on checking out and volunteered to drive my weighty backpack to my next venue, 27 miles away, as they were going near there. What service!

Only person in hotel obviously due to pandemic paid £50 for night and they still put me in a dated dank single room with shared bathroom, no choice of an early breakfast it was 8 onwards or nothing ( I was away at 7:30) not even a refund for no breakfast ....... poor in my opinion

Worst hotel I’ve stayed in! Very old, very tatty, needs a complete refurbishment. I had a terrible night in a room right on the main road, I heard every car and truck passing during the night through the ancient window. Find somewhere else!

So disappointed to read this review, it would be common decency for you to of told us before leaving and therefore given us a chance to make things right before just writing a poor review, The fact you keep it anonymous is even more upsetting and hard for us to be able to rectify . we always ask guests about their stay with us in the hope that if something is wrong we can change things.

The hotel is 200 hundred years old so it does have some dated issues, however this does not effect you stay, we have all the facilities available that we mention and never try to miss lead people,
