Beautiful home in a perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay in Helen at this beautiful home! We couldn’t have asked for a Better location, the house is within walking distance of downtown. We were 4 couples celebrating one couple’s 50th anniversary. We had a great time! The fire pit was great! House was clean and well supplied. Would highly recommend!!

Love this house and location!

We love Chattahoochee Lodge. We just wrapped up our 4th stay and hope we can come back next year too! It’s the perfect location for our family and friends with tons of things to keep the kids engaged (primarily the River in the backyard)!

Stay in Downtown Helen

We had a wonderful November stay at this beautiful home in downtown Helen! The location was perfect—right on the river and within walking distance to everything in town. The house was well-crafted, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable with nice linens, and the views were amazing. We especially loved the hot tub and fire pit, which made our evenings so relaxing. We’d definitely stay here again!

Magical Family Holiday

This family trip was planned well in advance and it was just as amazing as advertised. Proximity to everything was perfect for my family to explore everything Helen has to offer. I would highly recommend as the amenities and beauty this lodge has to offer is second to none.

This was our 2nd year staying at the Lodge. We loved that its so close to everything and that there is enough room for all of us!! Super clean and very spacious!!

Amazing, close to everything

We enjoyed having so much room in the lodge and being right on the river. We walked to Main St for lunch and shopping then a short walk to get our tubes. Beautiful place to stay. Will certainly be back!

Very nice home in great location!

Luxury home right on the river and a close walk to Main St in Helen. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for privacy, but large enough living room, dining room, kitchen and plenty of outdoor space to hang out with the entire group. Hot tub, fire pit, corn hole, and nice balcony with plenty of seating.

Second time

This is the second time we have stayed in this house in Helen and we hope it won’t be the last. The location can’t be beat and having such a large backyard on the river made for some great afternoons of relaxing and playing in the river for us and the kids. We enjoyed having a fire at night and also the large living space for all of us to gather.

Fun spot!

Great location and awesome views. Highly recommend that the property manager switch out tv’s to smart tv’s as we had to re-program a few remotes to get direct tv to work. Also couldn’t get the hot tub warmed up, but overall we had a great stay. Perfect for walking into downtown Helen and saving money on Uber’s. Loved this stay!

Fantastic stay in Helen

Property was exactly as described. Property was very clean, and the space was so huge, with plenty of room for all family members. The only downfall would be the stairs to the upper level. It was a little close fit, or small to get up the stairs, other than that we have no complaints at all!! We loved it so much with how close in proximity of walking distance to everything in Helen was, not to mention the Tubing!! We had the BEST time at this property and will be renting again in the future. Thank you.

Our favorite rental EVER!!!

We invited our #1 Customer and their spouses to join us in Helen for a short getaway from Corporate America! The house was perfect. The location was beautiful aling side the Chattahoochie River! We couldnt have wished for more! Tubing, shopping, yummy restaurants and more! It was really hot while we were here, yet the house remained perfectly cool! A momma bear and her 5 cubs played in the yard on the 3rd day, which was super exciting! I can honestly say this was our favorite rental ever! We are looking at making this an annual event! The ownerd thought of everything! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Best Spot in Helen!

Absolute best place to stay in Helen! Completely undersold on Vrbo site! You don’t realize how close you are to the main st in town until you see it in person. The caveat to that is it is very private and woodsy so you can feel very far away if you choose to. The outdoor space and river flowing through the back yard can only be imagined in person. My family (8) was completely blown away as was I. The inside was just as amazing as the outside. Very open with plenty of outdoor light to give you a great morning wake up view. To sum it up I would be highly disappointed if was not able to stay in the same home on my next visit!

Short distance

House was amazing. The house was very equipped with everything needed and very clean and spacious. The stairs were probably the scary thing since they were tiny steps and spiral but my kids and our friends stayed up there. Bringing luggage up was a little challenging but we managed. The home was like a 3 minute walk to the Main Street. No need to do the hassle of finding a parking lot. Location was perfect. The home was made Helen very enjoyable. Even during our stay we saw some flurries. Also staying the end of December I never seen Helen so crowded.

Beautiful property. Met all our needs.

Great view of the river and entertaining with all the tubers going down. Our kids enjoyed the fishing. Rooms and baths were all clean and stocked as described. Ample kitchen and fridge. Lights on canopy bed did not work even with new batteries. Some party lights on patio did not work but it was still a beautiful presentation. Bedroom fireplaces were a relaxing feature. Gas grill was not functional but we brought our own. It would be really helpful if all the remote controls were marked. Many TVs and fireplaces and motorized shades (which were a VERY nice feature). All in all, we would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Helen by the river

The house is within walking distance to nearly everything in Helen & is beautiful. The house is situated along the river & it’s a beautiful setting. All 4 bedrooms are en-suites plus there’s also a half bath which is great. However, there is only a narrow, metal, spiral staircase to access the 2 upstairs bedrooms & loft area. Carrying our luggage upstairs was quite challenging. The age range of our group was 70 to 78…luckily we had 2 couples who could manage the up & down of the spiral staircase…but not sure everyone could…especially older people or young children. It should be listed that this house has only a narrow, metal, spiral staircase to reach the 2 upstairs bedrooms.

In-laws 50th weddding anniversary celebration

The home is GORGEOUS and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!! Very clean and spacious and beautiful. We definitely made good memories there. The Location is absolutely perfect as well, literally a 5 minute walk into town!! A few things that didnt work in the house were a few tv remotes. We had to change batteries around. Lights in one of the bedrooms and bathrooms were flickering alot so we didnt really turn them on, it was like a strobe light. and I think a few more kitchen towles could be helpful. There were only 2 so we ended up buyin more. Mostly to dry dishes and wipe the counters off as we cooked. These are easy fixes though and overall we give this place a 10/10

Terrible experience

We arrived at approximately 5:30PM after a full day of travel. The house had not been cleaned from the prior guests. Due to the time of day and size of our party we were not able to find another place to stay. It was stressful and disappointing. The property manager did send cleaners that who worked until 9PM to try and clean the house. We finished washing the sheets and making beds ourselves up until about 10PM but we had no other options. The hot tub stopped working the night we arrived as well and was not able to be repaired during our stay. The dishes and silverware had been put up dirty and we had trouble finding enough things that looked clean to eat off of. There are not enough towels in the house so we had to share towels and wash a load every time we used them. The house itself is beautiful and the location was awesome. The property manager did refund our entire stay and did make efforts to find cleaners and repair personnel, so I guess they did what they could. This property has so much potential. If they had a cleaners and would spend a few dollars on towels and a couple of other small things this would be a five star rental. If we knew the property was clean and everything was working we would go back - it is a really nice house - but we did not see anything to make us believe that it is worth taking a chance on renting it again. I would be extremely careful if you rent this property - verfiy that it has been cleaned, verify there are towels, etc
