We stayed at 5 hotels in our 8 day visit to Norway. Hotell Koselig and another in a busier urban setting were our favorites, but for different reasons.
Hotell Koselig is owned and staffed by very nice and thoughtful people, as was demonstrated by ensuring our room was ready and warm even though we had only made the reservation an hour prior and the assistance offered and given to carry our bags up the stairs. In the morning, another staff member asked if we had slept well, remembering I had shared how little sleep we'd gotten the night before. This attitude towards guests made us feel welcome in a way a larger hotel simply cannot do.
The hotel is in a small town, sitting just above a neighborhood of houses and small shops. It is quiet can clean and we appreciated that. The breakfast was simply fantastic. Thank you for the hospitality.
