Paradise on the Little Red River and prime trout fishing!

Escape to this enjoyable 2-bedroom cabin in Heber Springs. Inside, guests will find a gorgeous living room with 1 futon and 2 sofa beds, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The bedrooms feature a queen bed and a full bed, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. With amenities like heating, WiFi, and a washing machine, this retreat has everything you need for a comfortable stay. A great place to call homebase while you're away, we hope you enjoy your stay.

Located on a tranquil, wooded lot on the banks of the Little Red River (4 miles from Greers Ferry Lake) this cabin is the perfect location for a family getaway, peaceful weekend, or a trout fisherman's dream-come-true! Every season is an ideal time to enjoy all that this location has to offer. The Fall foliage and migrating waterfowl are simply picturesque. Most of our guests are more interested in the river than the lake...frigid water from the dam release feeds the Little Red with near perfect trout conditions. We are just a few miles downriver from the dam, but the winding woodland roads are blanketed by forests, so Paradise is always secluded and quiet. We are also conveniently less than a mile down the road from the Little Red River Trout Dock and Cow Shoals!

Steps and platforms meander down from the cabin's woodsy back deck to the banks of the river. There is a large cleared area between the deck and river. It’s perfect for driving down the access road to fish right from your tailgate, with a small campfire ring, and open room to play for little ones. The world record German Brown Trout was caught within a half mile of the cabin at cow shoals at over 40 pounds and boat rental and fishing guide service are available right down the lane. Excellent fly fishing opportunities abound. With boating lane at our bank, and a rocky shoal leading all the way across to the river’s opposite shore, you have prime conditions for dam release levels or low water wading. Make certain to view pictures of lunker trout caught by 2011 guests within one-mile of the cabin, at Cow Shoals.

The interior of the cabin is extremely comfortable with a bedroom and bathroom located in the loft. Downstairs bedroom has French doors opening onto the back porch with a wonderful view of the river. Both rooms have queen size beds. The dining area seats four, with room for more, and is open to the living room and TV. The loft above is hidden from view but open to the living room for TV and fireplace action. It’s great for kids that are safe on stairs, it makes a perfect gaming system station, and keeps the living room clutter and cord free. The couch is also a sleeper sofa. A cozy hearth surrounds the fireplace with easy propane logs, it is perfect for cool weather. The living room has French doors that open on to a screened in porch with a fridge/freezer in the corner for fish, and a bug free area for summer nights. It’s a good spot for tackle storage, with a screen door and loop lock separating it from the outside deck. Charcoal grill and extra deck furniture make the covered back porch and deck area perfect for gatherings, large or small, in any weather.

This property is an easy drive from Little Rock or Memphis. It has all the comforts of home...WiFi, satellite TV, full kitchen stocked, with the peace and quiet you expect in a cabin. It really is Paradise, with the best of both worlds!

The nearby lake town has a quaint window shopping area with an “Old Main Street” vibe and a intersecting highway with easy access shopping. There are several public swimming, boating, and beach areas, within a 10 mile radius. “Damsite” campground and “Sandy Beach” swimming access are local favorites for summer time fun, and are family and pet friendly. There are also hiking trails about a mile away to sugarloaf mountain and bridal veil falls.

About an hours drive away there are also caves to explore and a bit further blanchard springs caverns.

The cabin is wonderful. It is cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We stayed in and prepared meals daily. The location on the river couldn’t be better! We enjoyed fishing all day, watching wildlife along the river, and had a bald eagle trout fishing with us. Amazing place!
A bald eagle who visited us.

We had a great time at Paradise. Check in was easy. Kitchen was stocked well. WiFi access was easy and service was very good. The owner was so nice and easy to correspond with. He had a letter telling of things to do in the area and restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed the peaceful, relaxing views of the river from the deck and sitting (in the provided) chairs down by the river. The air coming off the river is so nice on a hot day. And we caught a few trout even though the river was up. I would highly recommend this cabin.

First time in Heber

We had a great stay at the Paradise cabin. The little red river was really rough so he wasn’t able to do any fishing so we will definitely be going back to try that next time.

Wonderful stay!

It’s so peaceful and quiet! The river was beautiful, the neighbors were there but the yards are so big that you don’t feel like anyone is around.

It is a lovely location, in a quiet neighborhood, with a wonderful backyard, on the beautiful Little Red River. For complete comfort we recommend a maximum of 5 guests, although 6 is possible. This was our second stay and plan to stay again.

Anniversary in paradise on the little red river.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this awesome little perfect spot on the river. It was great getting to see the river low and high with the generating at the dam. It felt so cozy like home. I felt like it was my own home away from home. I would recommend this place to anyone with or without children.

Paradise!

We had an amazing stay on the Little Red River! Paradise is an accurate description of this cabin. We had anything we needed to help make the stay comfortable. It is set back from the other houses just a little offering additional privacy. The river bank was nice and clean. We even enjoyed a visit with friends kayaking the river!

Good Stay

Upon arriving I realized I did not have the code to get in. Because of poor reception it took about an hour to get the code. Cabin was clean and is perfect for a fishing get away. Cabin is very dark inside but once you open the blinds its a very cute cabin. Blinds need to bbe replaced. Fishing was good behind the cabin caught 2,19inch German Browns . I recommend yo wade iut fish the blue hole. below rapidsrapidsreplaced

Family time

The cabin was large enough for our stay. Unfortunately it wasn't clean when we got there. There was food in the microwave from the previous tenant. I had stayed at other places before and it was clean but this was my first with VRBO. Furniture was quite old with duct tape. The pull out sofa needs a mattress badly. The screened porch needs a new screen. The air conditioning was fabulous. The river was beautiful and you could see it from the cabin. My first impression was not good because of the condition of the cabin. I was disappointed. I cleaned it up and then we were fine except for the pull-out sofa. Two people could never sleep on that 😒 all in all we had a good time. We did bring our dogs but I swept up after them. The dogs that had been there previously must have been gray in color because their hair was everywhere.

Paradise as described!!

We could not have been more pleased with the cabin, amenities, property, river access, etc. Everything was just as homey as described, not perfect but we were not expecting nor were looking for perfection. We were looking for a riverside cabin and that’s 110% what we loved about it. From walking in the door, we felt like family, not guests. Communication with the owner was excellent. Her suggestions/recommendations for surrounding areas and things to do/see were spot on. It was absolutely wonderful and just like you’d imagine, just as expected if you are EXPECTING a house/cabin ON THE RIVER. Reading some of the previous reviews, I wasn’t sure what to exactly expect upon arrival because we all know BS words and photos are easily thrown out there by folks that want to stay at a cabin, but in reality a lot of those folks are looking for a “resort”. If you want 5 star resort w/amenities, then go to a 5 star resort with your white gloves and scowls . From there you can look through glass while you watch the people at the “cabins” getting to have a wonderful time and love life by the river. If you want a “like home” riverside access cabin, this is definitely the place to go. Great fishing, relaxing, unwinding, family-fun location!! We will definitely be going BACK to this cabin!! I just wish it could be tomorrow. As one “cabin” owner to another, THANK YOU!! I am sincerely thankful that I found this cabin and its owners. If I could give a 100 gold stars, they’d have it!!
