"The stay was great. One thing I feel I should have been notified of was the fact that a wildfire was very close days before I left on the trip. I found out while in transit and reached out to the manager. The reply was dismissive stating air quality index was 16 (good). I didn't feel completely safe the first night and was angered that I wasn't notified. As it turned out, the manager was correct [she said it shouldn't be a problem]. The wind and humidity helped her to be accurate. I did get a notification about the fire possibly impacting my trip to a nearby rafting expedition but no notice from VRBO even though I had to drive a hwy declared potential evaluation ready."

"We had a group of four for a weekend to climb a 14er nearby, and everybody had their own room. It definitely could have slept more as there were several unused beds, and the couch apparently was a pull-out. The three bathrooms also would have made it comfortable for a larger group. The house is about a block away from the main street (Harrison Ave) in Leadville so it's an easy walk to restaurants and other businesses. You can see the Melanzana store from the front step! Street parking was easy, and communication with the host went well. We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen looked equipped to do so, and there was a large dining table for groups that want to have a meal at home together. I recommend this host and property when visiting Leadville."
