Loved the view from the dining room. Two moose wandered by and we had a close up of them. House was perfect for our group of seven. Hosts were very organized and very informative. Would highly recommend this house.

We had a work event in Healy and long busy days, and this house was so comfortable and welcoming to come back and relax in. The property manager was a great communicator and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. I will definitely seek this property out again when I come back to Healy.

Girl's Trip
Eight friends traveled to Alaska for the trip of a lifetime! We enjoyed the spaciousness and cleanliness of this property which accommodated eight adults. Ann was very responsive and helpful whenever I contacted her with questions. We all felt very comfortable at her property and especially liked that we saw a moose and baby in the backyard. We'd definitely stay there again!

I wondered why all the patio furniture was lined up across the deck and facing south. I agree with you, the view is outstanding from out deck. You were able to see the colors changing too. That was Mt. Healy you were all seeing. Many people search for Denali, but Mt. Healy is my personal favorite. It tells me about the weather coming, and the views change every day.

The property was lovely and well taken care of. Convenient location to Dinali. Grocery store nearby; everything that you could need. The host, Ann, was incredibly helpful and such a delight. We even got a visit by a momma moose and her calf. Highly recommend; would definitely stay there again!!

Spectacular
A super homey, welcoming rental property. From the large front porch to the beautiful back yard & deck, every room is well appointed with comfortable furniture, beds and bathrooms. Tons of little extras are tucked everywhere making it feel just like home. All found just as described, and host, Ann, was always available, thorough and accommodating. Couldn’t have been better!

Thank you for this kind review. We do try "to tuck" away little things we would like to find: potato masher, coffee grinder, cream, extra soaps. We have been hosting guests for 35 years in Denali. We strive to be save and clean first and then we strive to support our guests with a little extra they might need or appreciate. Beautiful Visit to Denali
This home is a great place to stay for your Denali visit. It is very clean, in a great location, and has everything you need. The bonus was that a cow moose and her calf visited the back yard everyday while we were there. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Happy in Healy!
We had a wonderful stay in Healy! I can’t say enough positive things about the house and Ann. Ann helped me with my train tickets, getting a car and my endless questions not only about Denali but Seward, as well. Her and her husband were extremely helpful. The house was a perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle of Denali plus the small drive (maybe 10 min?) north of Denali to the house is breathtaking. There is a grocery store across the street and a phenomenal restaurant not even 5 min away (49th State). The views of the mountain never got old and it was so nice sitting outside after a long day of hiking and exploring. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect stay for our Group of 8 Adults
We were able to rent this home after our first rental (Royal Deer Lodge) abruptly cancelled on us---buyer beware with that rental! This property was perfect for our group of 8 (4 couples). The location was ideal--close to restaurants, gas & groceries--and just a short distance to Denali and all it has to offer. The house was clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. Ann was prompt and responsive with our questions. We would definitely rent this home again.

Thank you for the kind review. We just bought a new pot and pan set for our guests. There are a lot of appliances and we tried to stock the kitchen well for our guests' comfort. We often have guests thank us for the large dining room table where they can gather for meals, board games, card and conversations. This house is meant for families and/or a large groups of friends. So Perfect!
This charming property is very convenient to Denali National Park. The home can accommodate a large group very comfortably. Large bedrooms, great yard, the kitchen is well stocked. A moose came to visit and we spent 30 minutes enjoying a close up experience. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect for our group of 6. The property is gorgeous with amazing views, and the house is very well stocked. Grocery store very close by. We saw the famous moose twice on the property. That was a treat. Will definitely come back!

We enjoyed this property for four couples traveling together. Bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate with comfortable beds and the house was very clean with adequate kitchen supplies. Nice laundry facilities which were was great. Ann was very prompt when correspondence when I had questions. Be prepared to purchase your own toilet paper as we had enough for only a couple of days for eight people and our stay was longer but no big deal as there is a grocery very close by. I would recommend for families and couples traveling in the Denali area.

Ah, we do provide extra TP. That's essential. We keep extra rolls on the back of toilets and in the cabinets below the sink. They do sometimes mysteriously disappear....all of the rolls and staff doesn't discover the mystery. You were such fine guests. Thank you. I hope all of those future guests will call from the house phone if you need any these kinds of supplies. We keep extra TP in all three bathrooms...unless we have been raided.

Healy Alaska Holiday
Property is perfectly positioned to be close to activities at Denali. National Park is an easy drive, as well as lots of excursion companies (we did ATV ride at Denali ATV Adventures, and it was a lot of fun). Home is exactly as described in the VRBO listing, and was perfect for our group of 6 adults (3 couples) and 2 teenage boys. The home is just far enough out of town to feel like you are in nature. Large back deck allows you to sit outside and view the gorgeous surrounding mountains. There is also a large window in the dining room that enables you to enjoy the outside, even while inside. And yes, we had a moose sighting. Owner was very response to the one request that we had.

We loved staying in this spacious home. It was perfect for our family of eight with room at the dining room table for all 8 of us! We appreciated the many windows and the large piece of land--green and beautiful Sadly, no moose visited while we were there.

Pristine home in excellent location!
This home was perfect for our family. The location was perfect as a jumping off point for things to do around Denali. It’s quiet and beautiful and we saw several moose. Even a family of moose with twins! The beds were very comfortable with plenty of linens. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you may need, including spices. We’ve stayed in VRBO homes all over the world and this one tops the cake as far as cleanliness. It was pristine!!! Book it and you won’t regret it.

Luxury in the back country
We had 7 adults in our party. This is a very well appointed 4 bedroom home. There is plenty of room in the home. You are IA FANTASTIC location to enjoy the park. It is very quiet and private. The host is outstanding. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this home for anyone traveling to Denali.

Finally saw a moose
Beautiful house. We had been in AK for 5 days and never saw a moose. On our last morning I looked out of the large window in the dining room and…there it was just laying down in the backyard. It was the best end to a great stay

We had 8 family members ranging in age 10 to 67 with plenty of sleeping accommodations, bathrooms and space to eat together and spread out when we wanted. The owner was very prompt in responses and the view was fabulous. It was a close location to the grocery store. We recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the Denali area since it was close to the park entrance.

Beautiful private home
There were 8 of us who stayed here (6 adults, 2 children), and we had plenty of space. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed the inside and outside. The dining room is perfect—huge windows to see the mountains in the distance and a large mirror for those facing the opposite way. I messaged the owner a few times and she was quick to respond. We used the house as our base for exploring Denali National Park. It was a quick drive into the park and we did multiple hikes there. There was a grocery store and a brewery within a 5 minute drive—a small town with tourist and coffee shops was also close, but we never visited so can’t review if any of that is worth visiting. I would 100% stay here again if I came back to this area!!

Our VRBO host was very thoughtful and understanding. Our extended family (4 kids and 2 grandparents) had a wonderful stay at this location. Love the view from the dining room window. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable.

Conveniently located about 8 miles north of Denali. Wonderful accommodations with spectacular backyard views. Well appointed and spacious living quarters. Very nice hosts. And really close to 49th State Brewery which is awesome!!!

I had to smile how nice you left our vacation rental. These guests did a nice job too, but there was no way I could clean the house in an hour. You were a wonderful guest. Fabulous Mountain Retreat
Our family (from ages 5 - 70) stayed here over a long Memorial day weekend and had a great experience. The property has amazing views, and feels secluded and yet the grocery store is just 5 minutes away. It was easy for us to visit Denali National Park from here, only a 15 min drive away. The owner was great, and even arranged to send something back to us that we left at the property that had sentimental value. Thanks for a great stay!

Peaceful hideaway that's not too far away
Amazing mountain views from dining room, kitchen and back porch. Close to Denali National Park entrance but away from the crowds. Even saw a moose next door! Comfortable house with plenty of space for everyone. Comfy beds, plenty of linens, well stocked kitchen. Even bear spray on loan. Friendly host...all very easy and relaxing.
