"One of the nicest properties I've ever visited! Incredible views, lovely setting, and very comfortable beds. I highly recommend John's place. My only suggestion is for guests and I recommend that they take a screen shot of the entry key pad prior to arriving as cell service is spotty (I had to backtrack a few miles in order to get service). Nevertheless, my cousin and I adored this place!"

"This place is truly special. The location is spectacular. What a veiw! The sounds of the waves crashing as we fell asleep were magical. It is quiet, clean, and Deb was amazing at providing pre arrival information and checking in to make sure all was well. (Such a smooth and essy arrival) We can't wait to go back again!"

"A little outdated and run down. Could use a good deep cleaning. Missing bulbs and flickering light fixture. We just kept it off. Location was awesome! Was equipped alright but we only stayed 2 nights. Water pressure particularly the hot water was not so great."
Sweet comfy cottage on Small Point Road

"We had a very nice 10-day stay at this cottage. The location was great for us, the house was as expected from the listing, and we were generally very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The host was very friendly, accommodating and responsive leading up to and during our stay.The main area that could use improvement is the cleaning. There was some trash left inside when we arrived, and the kitchen—particularly the stovetop, sink, and some of the smaller surfaces and items—needed a more thorough cleaning. There was also noticeable dust and cobwebs in some areas. Given the high cleaning fee, we expected better.A few other minor issues: rugs near the stairs and kitchen felt like tripping hazards, and some of the lighting could also be improved. We also noticed a small leak under the kitchen sink and some water around the full bathroom toilet. We cleaned those up and they didn't come back, but it's worth a second look by the owner.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thought the cottage and location were a good fit for us. We would definitely return, but with some additional attention to cleaning and a few maintenance details, it would be an excellent rental."

"This was a great visit for us! The property was very clean, well maintained and very private. The bed was very comfortable. Although we never met the owner, he was very responsive to text messages. We would come back here again. It should be noted that the description of the property should more accurately describe the "kitchen", which consists of a refrigerator and microwave. This wasn't a problem for us, as we are campers and brought our camp stove with us. Overall we were very pleased with this property. Seeing the deer right outside of our window was a real treat!"

"Beautiful property that is well equipped! The living room was so cozy and comfortable. The location is just far enough away to feel private and remote, but close enough to Bath to feel well connected to daily needs. The cove is stunning and feels very private. Overall a lovely stay and our only regret is not staying longer!"
