  • Welcome to Bear Creek Lake Retreat!! We know you'll love our waterfront home as you make memories with family and friends. Sleeps 14 with 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Enjoy your private beach, fishing, swimming, Kayaking, bon fire in the back yard. Enjoy siting in the hot tub with an amazing view of the lake. Cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy the lake view from the living room, or you can challenge friends to a game of pool, air hockey, and ping pong.

    You have your own private beach with access to Kayaks and a rowboat.
    The lake is great for fishing. Lots of outdoor space to play yard games.
    Relax in the second floor living room and enjoy the wildlife , deer, geese, ducks

    First floor has a fully stocked kitchen, dinning room, living room, game room/bedroom, master bedroom with private bath room, laundry/half bath, foo's ball, and ping pong

Great house right on Bear Lake. We used the rowboat and 2 kayaks and also the hot tub daily. The ping pong, pool table and board games kept us busy when we had some rain one day. There is a nice community center with pool, tennis and pickle ball courts as well.

This was a beautiful, well maintained property. The outside fire pit was the best with the view and wildlife to enjoy morning through night. This was a very clean property with plenty of room for 5 to move around and enjoy. Great beds, great outdoor spaces, perfect hot tub with a great view of the lake, awesome game room and very clean along with the communication with the host was so easy. This was close to Jim Thorpe and close to many places to visit as well. Just a perfect property for our girls extended vacation. I would recommend this property 10 times over. Thank you for our perfect memorable stay.

Spacious living quarters with the outside being equally as good!! We were there in the winter and it was great! Hard to believe but probably even better in the warmer months We will be back and highly recommend

Hot tub was wonderful. Relaxing taking in the view while others are sitting around the fire pit in front of the beautiful foliage and lake. Nature’s elements were amazing! Extremely spacious with so many “living rooms” to hang out in. Although we couldn’t get into town due to high volume of traffic from the amazing festival, we just came back to the house and enjoyed hanging out there for our entire 3 day stay. We had the best time! The house is beautiful. The place had plenty of space for our family and had everything we needed for a great stay. Lovely Lake Getaway!

We loved our time on the lake with a combination of 6 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 2-10 years old the house and property had plenty to offer for all! The downstairs layout was convenient for meal prep and the kids had a great time fishing and playing in the sand. Visiting the nearby boulder field and Scoops ice cream provided some offsite adventures as needed!

We stayed here with our whole family which included 4 families. Space was great and backyard with lake access allowed for plenty of space for kids to run around. Home’s boats and kayaks were great and it’s nice that life jackets are available as well. Homeowners were very responsive to questions we had regarding hot tub.

We had a group of 12 adults for a long weekend at this property. Everything was as advertised. Everything on the property was of a nice quality including the hot tub, beds, firepit, appliances, etc. The dock is on a beautiful spot on the lake. I would definitely book again for a large group.

We had so much fun hiking, boating, kayaking, fishing, and jogging that we need a vacation.First, great communication from coffee makers to church services to gun clubs in the area. The owner ALWAYS responded.Second, the home had everything...kitchen appliances, laundry room, hot tub, dock, fireplace, outdoor seating, huge driveway!Third, CLEAN. CLEAN. Perfect As Always

Linda’s house is becoming an annual trip for myself, my wife, kids, and my in-laws. Can’t ask for a better house in the Poconos - right on the water, beach for the kids to play, hot tub, pool in the community center, a variety of boats to choose from, and a 10 minute ride to downtown Jim Thorpe. Linda is great to communicate with. We’ll be back next year!

Peaceful and Relaxing

We stayed at this house for a bachelorette weekend, the bride was overwhelmed with the property and so ecstatic! We had the best weekend and the house was close to Jim Thorpe town which was very convenient! The property owner was very quick to respond to questions and very helpful as we were not familiar with the area! The house was immaculate when we checked in, the process was very easy! The property setting os absolutely beautiful, the water and firepit area, all of it was just amazing! We've already talked about planning our next stay there! Wonderful week at the lake

We just got back from our week at this lake house and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The house has a great layout with a convenient entrance to a mud/play room with a bathroom right there for the kids. The kitchen was large enough for 3 adults to work doing dishes/prepping/cooking food. There was a lot of space for our group of 12 to sit to eat, as well as to relax in the living room. We used the hot tub all week and it was super hot (like it should be!) and relaxing. We used the kayaks and row boat often, and did a lot of fishing from the dock and the row boat as well. We caught some really large bass, crappie, and a million sunfish. We had every pot and pan we needed, even a griddle for pancakes, and there was plenty of large bowls and platters. The few times I reached out to the host she was quick to respond and happy to help. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to book again!
