The house is so spacious! Great layout and huge kitchen. Plenty of area ro lounge and relax with a great outdoor patio and firepit and close to the water!
We enjoyed being right in Hayward yet feeling like we were way out in the woods on the lake. Drinking my coffee from the recliner in the house and watching the sun rise over the lake was such an awesome experience.
Overall it was a nice stay ,we were out exploring things so we were not at the house alot but when we were there it was comfortable.
It had everything we needed for our stay there
I wish the weather would’ve been warmer so we could experience the lake a little bit more, but it was still a nice stay
The property was beautiful and had great outdoor space. It was very neat and tidy and well-equipped for what we needed,
We had a great time and hope to return some day.
Thanks!

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
Large kitchen and 2 living areas. Rented in winter and the wood burning stove was a wonderful feeling. Plenty of wood.
Our family loved our stay! We had everything we needed and more. Lots of space, beautiful home and lake-- we did lots of fishing and relaxing. Owners were very easy and quick to communicate with. Hope to stay again soon!!
Great house, clean, comfortable bed, well-stocked, can’t beat the location, deer in the front yard & lake right out the back door! Good communication! Highly recommend!
Everything was well stocked. The view was wonderful and we enjoyed the fire pit. Can't control the weather but we found fun things to do inside on the rainy day as well.
We put together a puzzle, played games and even did a word find.
Very clean, well appointed inside, gorgeous views from the patio and bench on boat dock outside as well as master bedroom, living and family room inside.
Truly, everything you could need inside and out. We visit Hayward every summer, and this was one of our most enjoyable visits despite the fact that it rained much of the week. It was so nice to have 3 bedrooms, both a living room and family room, and a spacious kitchen with everything we needed for cooking. We brought cards and games, and our kayaks but wouldn’t have needed to- there are puzzles, games and books inside, and kayaks and a paddle boat outside. Though fishing wasn’t great from the dock, the guys took our boat out and did pretty well near the channel-enough for 2 meals. We hope to return next year.
It was very nice. Loved the 2 living rooms also the bedrooms opposit end of house. Beautiful view from kitchen to lake. We didn't cook there but the kichen was well stocked.
The kayaks got used often.Great time.
The only thing was the apartments one each side. They were working on them during the day. Very loud. We thought we were not going too be by anyone. We had fun and that is what counts. We would definitely suggest it to others.
This was a lovely stay in a beautiful area. The home was very clean, the beds & pillows comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with pans, utensils, flatware -- for someone who loves to cook, there was plenty of equipment to produce great meals. The home is located down a long tree-lined driveway, and have the feeling of being alone, even though it's a busy, well-populated area. My husband enjoyed playing horseshoes in the yard every night. There is a nice pier over the water, with a 90 turn at the end, and an attached bench for 2. We spent every evening in the back yard, and sitting on the pier. The house is probably 50-60 yrs old, well-built, and appeared to have had some updating in the bathroom. The master bedroom has a whole wall of built-in wooden drawers that's just beautiful. There are lots of big windows looking out over the lake, and a nice huge pass-through counter between the kitchen & living room that allows a good view of the lake from the large kitchen, even though it's on the opposite side of the house. The owners/managers responded to email/text within a couple of hours -- we had several questions about the area. A bonus was that they could recommend several good old-fashioned Wisconsin Supper Clubs that we certainly enjoyed. Even though it's taken me 3 months to submit a review, this was a totally lovely stay, and I wanted to give appropriate "raves" about this property. We would certainly like to stay again!
Once again Towering Pines was awesome. This time we had kids and grandkids and everyone loved it and hated when it was time to leave. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin!!
Our group consisted of me, my husband and 2 of our adult kids. Location was perfect. We walked everywhere; to get a coffee in the morning, to the grocery store, to the Lumberjack show, to get ice cream and to the fishing museum. We sat around a fire on the back patio every night over looking the lake and talking. The kitchen is nice and big with lots of counterspace which made making meals easy. We would definitely stay here again!
This was our first experience with a VRBO and it was AMAZING! Highly recommend you check this one out. It was everything we thought it would be and more!
