Quaint Home in a Great Central Location

"Very nice place. Reminded me of staying at my grandparents farm as a kid. Had deer and rabbits. The chickens from next door came to visit most every morning."

"I thought this place was very well-maintained and clean. The bed was super soft and so warm I didn't even need covers. The only downside of this place is that it is right next to some train tracks that were super busy the night that I was there - trains blowing their whistle, moving slowly, and just making a lot of noise. I'm a light sleeper, so I didn't get a very good night's sleep. It is no fault of the hotel what goes on outside of its walls. But all in all, the facility was very nice, and the employee gave me a great recommendation of a place to eat that night - and it worked out great."

"We only stayed one night as we were driving through Escanaba. Location worked well for our travel plans. A big plus was the nice Italian restaurant in the hotel so we didn't need to worry about find a place when arriving at 7pm. We asked to be seated in the bar area and was served by the bartender. She could not have been nicer letting us take our time after a long day of travel. A negative, however, was the poor offering from the hotel in the morning. They say they have "breakfast" but it was undrinkable coffee and granola bars. The restaurant offers a discount to hotel guests for breakfast so that's clearly what they expect you to do. Otherwise the room was clean and adequately large for a one-night stay."

"The view of the sunsets was amazing. It was nice having access to the Lake via a small foot path. My favorite part of the stay was listening to the waves all night long. What a wonderful way to fall asleep. We will be returning."
