Great peaceful property

Great Stay!

Beautiful home, location was great, quiet and relaxing. Views of the bay were great. Home was good If you have kids but would also be good for anytype of stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would stay here again!

Lovely home on the York River

The property is in a beautiful location along the York River, with particularly nice night views of the lights along the river. The home is new and very well-equipped. Altogether a great place to stay.

If you want the views this is your spot! The check-in process was incredibly easy. The hosts reached out the first day to wish us well and left snacks for us to enjoy. It was a short drive to the theme park and the historic attractions. Virginia was good to my little family. We will absolutely be back!

Absolutely loved this place. Quiet location but not too far from places like Yorktown Beach and Busch Gardens. Owners left us snacks and a very informative welcome book with everything we need to know about the area.Right on the water and having Kayaks to use was great. Such a beautiful spot and tucked away in a quiet setting outside of town. The drive to Williamsburg and Yorktown beach were still close and a lot of great restaurants in the area as well. We will definitely back. Host was great and quickly responded when we had questions.

Short but Sweet

The property was amazing. In a perfect setting. The home was comfortable. We enjoyed that the bedrooms were split and that the kids had their own chill area with a TV for them. There were three kayaks and we had three grandkids (12-16), no fights. Very relaxing couple of days, wish we could have stayed longer, but the host was very accommodating allowing us an early check in. Looking forward to the opportunity of coming again.

What a view!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Just what the family needed. View was amazing with a private beach that we were able to enjoy as well. Upon arrival, we had snacks and drinks waiting for us with a detailed book with things to do in the area. We had a lot of fun using their Kayas as well and spending time relaxing on the beach. Home was in a quiet area but close enough to the town with a lot to do and see. We will definitely be back

Beautiful and Serene Setting

Close to Yorktown, Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens but located in a private, quiet location overlooking the water with direct access. Excellent getaway for vacation! The house smelled of new construction and was very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities of home. The owner was very welcoming and as the other reviews say, left snacks and sent a welcome text inviting us to reach out if we needed anything. We were there during July 4th, and the views were spectacular with all the fireworks displayed across the water. We would definitely stay again!

Clean & comfortable with great views

I recently stayed here with my mom for a mother/daughter getaway. We used this VRBO has home base with day trips to Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. The home was clean and beds were comfortable. Home is very spacious with two living areas. Both sunrises and sunsets off the back deck were amazing and our pics don’t do it justice. It was a little bit of a drive for our daily outings(we were closest to Yorktown), but the comfort of being in such a nice home made up for it. Master bedroom on one side of house and two spare bedrooms on another, so you have privacy. I highly recommend this home.

Right on the York River!

If you’re looking for peace and quiet with your own small & private beach at the mouth of the York River, then this is the place for you! The house is new and beautifully appointed with every modern convenience you could want. TVs that operate off your own streaming accounts were in several rooms for you to use. Patrick, the host was so helpful with any questions we had. Although in a somewhat remote location, we were only 14 minutes from the Yorktown bridge and near all the historic sites as well is easy travel to all the small towns in the area. we had so much fun exploring and eating at so many different seafood restaurants and taverns/pubs. But honestly, the highlight of our trip was sitting and walking on our small beach. The magic of the stars at night and the water lapping against the shoreline was more than we dreamed of. the peace and calm we felt was wonderful… Highly recommend!

House is beautiful and equipped with all the standard amenities - we added a wine key to the kitchen supplies. The location is quiet and serene, with stunning, unobstructed views of York River and the Chesapeake Bay. Worth the drive out to location.
