Two electric recliners and a sofa sleeper with memory foam pad for groups of four! Warm days and cool nights make for a cozy evening by the fire pit counting the stars. This quaint, fully-furnished lakefront cottage is perfect for family vacations, guy's fishing retreats, girl's getaways, a couple of couples or a romantic getaway with your honey. Overlooking one of the clearest, spring-fed lakes in Texas (the same aquifer that Ozarka and Nestle gets their spring water feeds Lake Hawkins), this 1-bedroom, 1 bath has everything you need to get outta town and forget about the 'real world' for a while. The bedroom, with a Queen-size bed and the Queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area can accomodate a small family or 2 couples. Watch the sun rise over the lake from the deck as you're enjoying your morning coffee. Enjoy our screened-in dockhouse, private boat dock for securing your boat, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, sun-bathing and lots of room to play, walk, run, cycle around the lake or just chill. A public beach at Lake Hawkins County Park is down the road, just a few minutes away. You’ll want “our place” to be your “your place” for your next intimate getaway. Peaceful, relaxing property. I love sitting next to the wood burning stove and watching the waves. The provided bird seed led to losing track of time while watching the birds and squirrels take turns in the feeder. The bicycles, canoe, and kayaks gave us different ways to explore.
We had a wonderful time at this lake house. The area is quiet, peaceful, friendly. We loved the kayaks and fire pit. Just the right spot to make family memories!
Just WOW!!! What a great place to go for a nice getaway. From the first drive up to the opening of the front door where there is the most wonderful fragrance ever into a very peaceful stay while enjoying the campfire, it was the most enjoyable, relaxing experience. Very highly recommend.
We loved that we could go walk straight to the lake from the house and go for a refreshing swim. The house had everything we needed and the decorations were so cute.
This is our 34th time to stay at this quaint little cabin that is within walking distance to the lake. The owners have fantastic communication and we love all the kayaks, fishing poles, and canoes provided.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The cabin had everything we needed. Easy access to the lake so my husband could fish. The boat house has a screened in area if you want to sit outside and view the lake. We highly recommend the place.
This cabin was perfect for our short stay! It had everything we needed and more. It was nice to get away from the city and just relax and visit friends. We will definitely be back. Owners were super nice and responsive. Thank you for everything.
A wonderful little house at a beautiful location. The neighborhood was beautiful and serene. The dock house was awesome and I got a lot of work done sitting in there on the lake. I look forward to going again.
The lake is quiet and beautiful. We love that the house is close to the water and includes: kayaks, canoes, floaties, and fishing poles. Our teen girls enjoyed exploring. Not to mention the fabulous Italian restaurant 1/4 mile down the road.
This I a great weekend getaway!! We took our two young kids (3 and6) and dog for the weekend and loved this place. The cabin was very comfortable and had anything we might need. The enclosed room on the fishing dock was set up perfectly for all seasons. Took kids out on the kayaks and swap from the dock as well.
Just what we needed, Peaceful,Quiet, Great weather for off season stay. Amazing Hosts! Everywhere we went for hikes to shopping to eateries All so friendly ! Sitting on the dock in the sun with good books ( Perfect) !! Thank you Delisa & Chuck.
