"StrandHotellet is in a very nice location with a nice view of the sea. Because I am a Hotels.Com Gold member, we received a room upgrade. The people helping us were very accomodating. The larger room was available and they were able to offer it to us. A number of very good restaurants within short walking distance. Nice location for driving around the country side. Free parking available was handy. Breakfasts were pretty good. We had a very nice stay. "

"This was my first time in Sweden and it could not have been a better experience. The hotel is darling and the view from every window is picturesque. "The hotel claimed they had no reservation for us. They blamed ebookers. Ebookers claimed there was a reservation and blamed the hotel. None of which was of any use to us, abroad, in the middle of nowhere and no other hotels available within 50km. Stranded with nowhere to stay and no accountability from either the hotel or ebookers."
