Only complaints hot tub water was dirty, and trash needs some cleaning. While on the hot tub we could smell the trash can even after we moved it.
Cabin was super clean and had lots of utensils available, and the night sky was beautiful.
Quiet little cabin that is perfect for us as older oeople. Dog friendly with plenty of wildlife. Just a wondeful stay with no issues to complain about.
Beautiful,Quiet, Peaceful Place and Phenomenal host.
If you are looking for a place to get away, sit out on the porch and watch the sunset or sunrise this is the perfect place. Holly was very quick to respond and everything went perfect. We can’t wait to go back.
Was great the place was nice and isolated was supposed to ride but drove thank foodness that Saturday it rained all day no biggie had a hot tub and a comfy couch.
If your looking for relaxing quiet time.. this is the spot. Relaxing in the hot tub while looking up at the stars to walking the trails and seeing deer everywhere. This was the perfect escape.
Really enjoyed the wild thing cabin and the place where it was located!
We did take out side x side and rode very little, most trails were groaned up or blocked someway or the other. perfect little get away for peace and relaxing. Hot tub was awesome, such a private place!
We loved the fact that the cabin was secluded. Within 45 minutes of arriving, we saw a deer, rabbit and snake. The morning we left, we woke up to a momma deer and her baby in the field in front of the house. The hot tub was relaxing and we enjoyed it so much.
The Wild Thing cabin is very cute and welcoming, just perfect for 2. Everything we needed was there. The cabin was clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated for fall. We enjoyed the fire pit and loved going on the ATV trails around the huge property. Lots of wildlife, including deer and a gray fox. Definitely will be back!
For the 3 rd time! That’s how much we love staying here! My wife and I love to disconnect, enjoy nature and love the fishing.
This cozy place has everything you will need and the hosts are great. Highly recommend this place!
We absolutely loved the wild things cabin, unfortunately the hot tub would not work even after the hosts worked on it for a few hours but we still enjoyed our time there..completely relaxing
This was our second time staying, and I enjoyed it even more this time— the property is so green and lush (even in August)! It was my birthday and the hosts left a birthday banner which was a thoughtful personal touch. The cabin had a good feel, was clean, and we enjoyed the hot tub at night. Make sure to bring your own tin foil, plastic bags, or Tupperware if needed.
We enjoyed the silence and the stars at night. A great escape from the city. The trails were a blast with the UTV's. There is so much beauty within 20 to 30 minutes in any direction. The wild life was proliferate. We even spotted a bobcat close to the cabin, not to mention the countless deer and the bunny rabbits, as the wife called them. It is definitely a place we would rent again. We did not get to see or do all we wanted while in the area.
We had the best time. Just wanted a little getaway for me and my spouse to have some time to ourselves without the kids or any other everyday distractions and this was perfect. We were basically on our own land. Couldn’t see or hear any other guest in the other cabins. The house was well cleaned and smelled wonderful. The hot tub was definitely a plus. Spent a lot of our time there. Holly was very responsive with the few questions we had. All and all it was just what we needed. I’m just sad it’s over.
We absolutely loved the location of the cabin, it was very clean. The bed was comfortable not super plush but comfortable. Communication with Holly was super easy!
We were greatly disappointed that the UTV rental was not offered anymore as it is still listed in the listing an on their website. Seeing that was one reason why we chose to stay with meadow pines. They did tell us of other places to rent from, but it wasn’t the convenience like was advertised.
The kitchen is very well stocked and ready to be used. The A/C worked very good and kept the cabin very cool. The decor was nicely done.
They do supply a hotspot for wifi, but service was very sketchy, so if you need it for work it wouldn’t work very well.
There are a few minor things that need to be addressed on the hot tub. It mostly worked :) the lights didn’t work an some of the jets didn’t work. Also the electrical box the wires were in was not covered. That being said it was still very useable.
The water was also from a well I believe, a you would get lots of black flecks in your water.
The ponds for fishing were nice we caught 3 bass, they are just a little hard to get too.
Overall it was a very relaxing place to stay an lots of wildlife to view.
We would recommend to others.
