Hotel was walking distance to Ueno train station, great local food spots, shopping etc. If you like walking, Asakusa is only a 20minute walk along one road. Uneo station is a hub so it's a quick train trip to anywhere in Tokyo. The English speaking hotel staff provide great local expert knowledge regarding sights, food, karaoke, transport.
