Country house on the lake

This private country house is located right on a lake and surrounded by beautiful woods. It features 5 spacious bedrooms and large living areas spread over 2 floors, as well as 2 cosy guest houses right next to the main house. A spacious outdoor porch features a generous lounge area, a large dining table, and several lounge chairs.

Enjoy a swim in the lake from your private dock, or why not try the wood-fired outdoor sauna and the traditional Nordic hot tub with a cold shower!

History.
The house was originally built by a Swedish boat captain and his wife. About 50 years later, the house was redesigned and rebuilt into what it is today—a main house and two separate guest houses. A comfortable and well-designed house with plenty of character and excellent amenities.

The property.
The property is private, and you won’t be sharing it with any other guests or people. It consists of the main house (over 200 square metres), one guest house (25 square metres), and another (15 square metres). There is a large lawn behind the house where you can play football, badminton, and more. There is plenty of other outdoor space around the house, and the forest and lake are just around the corner. In total, the property covers about 5,000 sqm.
A driveway leads up to a large car park in front of the house, where you can easily park 3–4 cars. Electric car charging is available.

Main House.
Spacious common areas on both the ground and first floors, perfect for a large family or a group of friends. Children have their own space downstairs to watch TV or play games.
Ground floor features an open-concept living room/TV room with a fireplace and two cosy armchairs. Bathroom/spa includes a shower, whirlpool, sauna, and toilet. 1 spacious bedroom with a king-size bed.
Ground floor with a large open-concept living room/dining room/kitchen, including another open fireplace with a seating area. Well-equipped kitchen with both a refrigerator and a freezer. Large hallway with an additional bathroom. 2 spacious bedrooms with king-size beds.

Guest houses.
There is one large guest house and one smaller one. The larger one consists of a bedroom and a small living room with a workspace. The smaller one consists of a bedroom. Both guest houses have a queen-size bed.

Outdoor sauna, hot tub, and cold shower.
Next to the small guest house is a traditional Nordic wood-fired sauna, along with a hot tub and cold showers. Enjoy the hot sauna, a soak in the hot tub, and a cold shower. There’s nothing quite like stargazing while sitting in the hot tub—a truly memorable experience!

Outdoor space.
A large wooden deck surrounds the main house and features a lounge area, deck chairs, a dining table with chairs, a barbecue, and an open space overlooking the lake and the forest. Take the stairs down from the deck at the back of the house, and you’ll find the large lawn—perfect for sports, games, or any other activity.

The lake.
About 90 metres from the house is the lake and the private dock that comes with the house. Go for a swim in the fantastic, clean water, or why not sunbathe on the dock?
Fishing in the lake is excellent, and you can catch fish such as pike and perch. You’ll need to purchase a fishing licence, and it costs about 50kr.
Possibility to rent a rowing boat and 2 SUPs.
