Leah,When you reserve a room it is often from a category. Rooms are either first or second floor as the site says.We tried to offer you an upgrade but you wanted a certain room that was already occupied and you would accept nothing else for memory sake. We tried to accommodate but you would not hear of it. Next time call us ahead of time.. We cannot read minds.

It is to bad that when you have an issue that you don't speak up. After the fact doesn't help you. Below the Facebook icon there is one to opt out. We have the best system offered in our area. All of our rooms are different. I guess 200 year old antiques are considered dated to some.

We provide one parking spot for each room and offer suggestions for alternate parking for any additional cars. Guests can usually park an extra car at the Bank Street Beach, so long as it is moved before 9:00 AM. We apologize that you found it inconvenient to park your extra car a 1/4 mile away.
