Harwich Rental 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed sitting and enjoying the deck. There is a great forest view. We loved cooking on the grille and enjoying dinners on the great deck.The outside shower was so wonderful!

Clean home in nice location near lake and town

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean, nicely furnished and had working AC, washer dryer and dishwasher and a great deck and yard. The barbecue ignition wasn’t working but could be ignited using a lighter. It was very quiet and easily accommodated 3-6 people (3 bedrooms and a couch). We drove from the lake to the town and the beach. You could buy a weekly beach pass in town and Harwich is a lovely spot. Great restaurants and shops and easy access to the Nantucket Ferry, Chatham and Orleans.

Great stay overall!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great neighborhood, AMAZING backyard facing lots of trees, peaceful, quiet, lots of space, A/C in all the rooms. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. My only complaint was the lack of cleaning prior to our arrival but I mentioned it to the leasing company and they made it right. Great customer service. Would return.

Harwich vacation

The house is on the smaller side and the furniture is a bit outdated but there is a beautiful outdoor deck and that was where most of our time was spent. Perfect little fenced in yard for a little pooch. Plenty of silverware, utensils, pots and pans, made it very easy to cook. The owner was very flexible when asked about a possible modification, and I appreciated that, even though we ended up not needing the modification. Washer and dryer worked and outdoor shower was excellent. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood along with the location to all the things I love with Harwich and the surrounding area. My dog was happy with the yard and the walks in the neighborhood!The home and especially the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking in!

Cape Cod vacation

The interior of the home is very clean and up to date. The deck was lovely, being a pet friendly home, we like the fenced in yard. Very lovely neighborhood and easy to get on and off Route 6.

Great quiet spot for us to have as a homebase

This was a great property, with all that we needed, right off route 6 and easy to find. It was good for our family of four, with our small dog - having a fenced-in yard was an added bonus for us. We were able to go out and do what we wanted all along the Cape and come back and have it be quiet for the kids to sleep well (and watch morning cartoons while they let us sleep in a couple of the days too!)

Perfect!

This property was perfect for my husband, myself, daughter and her partner plus our dogs. The fenced in yard made it easy for us. It was very clean and was well stocked and beds were comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. Location was a little more than a mile to route 6 making it convenient. We had a nice relaxing week and hope to return again.

Nice Stay

Overall Decent Place

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I would like to thank you for the last minute renral for the week of August 9-16. We had a great week with beautiful weather. The location was great. We love Harwich but we also enjoy taking little excursions throughout the week and the place was centrally located. We also appreciated the quiet neighborhood which was great for dog walking. I also found the kitchen and bedrooms perfect for our family of four. A couple of things we’d like to point out that would improve the property for future renters. Overall, the property needs a little sprucing. I understand that the property sits in a forever wild lot with lots of tree which I can appreciate, but it does make for a dirty deck and house. The outdoor shower had a ton of huge spider webs and everything just needed a good sweeping and wash. I do realize this is unavoidable, but should be done at least a couple of times throughout the peak rental season. Another item we wanted toMention was the vacuum. The vacuum was terrible which is surprising for a dog friendly beach house rental. It barely worked. I like to keep a tidy home and try to do the same when renting on the Cape, vacuuming throughout the week. Additionally, the lock on the patio door didn’t work and the bottom step off the patio is rotting and split which could be dangerous and should be addressed asap. Again, overall we enjoyed the rental.
