Property was exactly as advertised. The room was small, but everything we needed. Shared kitchen facility was fully equipped. Would have been nice to have two pillows per person instead of just one.

We really liked the property. Our room was meticulously clean with linen ready for us. Security was good- we used the communal eating and cooking areas and everyone we encountered was friendly and the area was kept clean by users. Lovely to have a cold one on the deck overlooking the river

The room we stayed in was spacious, however there were some spaces that wer dirty and possibly overlooked. The bedside drawers had rubbish left inside. We couldve done with a service half way through our stay, like a complementary vacuum of floors.

Photos of rooms seem to be older photos from a few years ago - rooms and facilities are more dated than shown on photos. Shower was not great - alternating bursts of scorching hot water and ice cold water during showers (even if you dont change the tap). Rooms need some renovation. Staff was friendly. The shared kitchen was spacious and had ample pots and pans and cutlery for everyone. Outdoor area was nice and looked out to Haruru Falls.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Redecorated recently, nice linen, lovely bathroom. The outside area is in need of repair. We were just there for the night, so it suited our needs. I would put cups in the bedroom as there is a jug. There is also a kitchen available for use.

To be fair, we only stayed overnight and didn’t realise the lovely location so close to the waterfalls, until we had checked out and went to explore. Haruru Falls are a must-see.

We only spend a night there. Everything’s ok. The reception lady’s friendly. But when we showed, we realized that there’s no towels in room. It’s nighttime and we were lucky to have our own towels to use (we went swimming that day) so we didn’t bother to contact them at night for this. There’s no one around when we checked out the next morning so we left the keys as instructed. I have emailed them the towel issue but didn’t get any response. Hope they read my email.

Misinformed about the size of room. The rooms need some maintenance i.e. peeling paint on the shower step,wet carpet from the rain.No kettle to make hot drinks.Carparks are behind the building,long walk to get to your rooms.Overpriced for basic accommodation.

I’d highly recommend this motel. My family of 6 stayed in a very comfortable room with a queen bed on one level and the children’s beds above us accessed through the staircase in the room. They loved having a private room above us. Room was clean and comfortable and communal kitchen facilities were excellent. We had plenty of tea and coffee in our room. We parked right outside the room. We were made to feel very welcome. Nicely situated by Haruru Falls. We would stay again for sure. Thank you.

Hi there, We do not have too many guests stayed with us due to the covid19 .The international tourists could not come to Paihia. So it was quiet . We are using shared kitchen so all the facilities and tea in the kitchen . It's all public on the website. You should aware that before you make booking with us .

Location fantastic beautiful spot however management have not maintained property, poor room cleaning, hot water shower is hit and miss, ants in the room, and when it rains no tv reception. Staff communication poor, to the extent on leaving a hand written note was let at their reception for us to leave the keys at the counter. This place has Huge potential but not being utilised

The property had a beautiful view out over the river and a large deck with multiple picnic tables. We were able to enjoy our dinner outside in the fresh air.

My family and I stayed here for two nights. It is right next to the Haruru Falls. We did not realise how close and it was perfect. Only a 5 mins drive into Paihia. I would highly recommend

We had the multi family app for 5 which was clean, spacious and good for older children. Next to the kitchen and wasn't noisy. Doors opened on to garden/river and seating area, nice for breakfast. Large communal kitchen/dining/deck for bbq. Just needed more sinks in the kitchen.

Very helpful staff, comfortable room. Well equipped kitchen and large dining room. Walls rather thin so could be noisy if fellow guests are unruly but when I stayed everyone was well behaved. It is about 5 km from Paihia so not walking distance and taxis were in short supply if you are not in a car.

We liked the room size (Family 2 floor room) The bathroom was clean and he location of room was handy, near to kitchen and car park. Unfortunately the carpet had not been vacuumed properly and we found crisps under TV & couch, in view. They describe a basic childrens playground which I feel is very deceiving. It's a fence with a small patch of grass. My kids were gutted, just remove it off your website or udate it. Lots of things on website no longer applied, like free shuttle into town. No cooked breakfast. Breakfast starts at 8 not 7. Quite a few things were disappointing. The outside area was an even, unsafe bit of Concrete with very rusty table and chairs. The lady on reception was not fussed about my constructive criticism at the time or on our departure. I'm embarrassed about it as I was treating my parent's who are visiting from the UK, and it was nothing like a treat. At $200 a room per night I was expecting more. Some parts were ok but overall very disappointing and I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

We are really sorry when you check out there was no one at reception . I was doing cleaning in the room because we do not have enough staffs . Hope you can understand. We do have the bell at the reception and guests can press that if they need any help . Thanks for your advise . We will improve our service .
