    Opal Retreat feels wonderfully secluded, yet it’s just minutes from town and Lake Hartwell. Spend your days exploring Hartwell Lakeside Park (only 10 minutes away), walking to nearby pickleball courts or the YMCA, or simply unwinding in a rocking chair surrounded by nature. The cozy cottage in the woods was actually very close to the town of Hartwell! It was so private with two porches to enjoy coffee and a meal. The house felt spacious and the rooms were so clean and comfortable! It's a great place for singles or a family! I will definitely stay there again!

Opal retreat owners had the property in great order. It was a nice place to relax and enjoy yourself. The owners/ hosts were wonderful. They stayed available to be contacted if a problem arose and were willing to come out and take care of any issue..it was 5 stars for us
