Quietly nestled on thirty acres of serene Tennessee mountainside lies this beautiful 3,240 sq foot cabin. Newly built, this lovely cabin has everything you need for the perfect peaceful escape. This cabin has a roomy, open floor plan containing two bedrooms housing king beds and a large loft with a full bed and three twin beds. Family room has 2 queen sofa sleepers. The professionally designed kitchen includes all of the necessities for a large festive event or a simple gathering.

Enjoy fishing and paddle boating on our large pond, explore the mountainside adjoining the National Forest, and close out your day by relaxing on the front porch overlooking the lake for the ideal evening experience. Bring your horses and take advantage of our 3 stall barn and ample riding area. With all of the offerings of rafting, kayaking, zip lines at Hartford plus Asheville, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and Knoxville close by, there’s no lack of activities available to make your vacation the getaway of a lifetime.

Perfect family getaway

This was an easy booking. Hosts were very communicative. Property was beautiful, clean, comfortable and everything described. It was cozy and with 14 people ranging from 2-68 years old we had enough space to play games and spend quality time together. We even enjoyed the row boat out on the pond! I would recommend to others.

Nice peaceful getaway

The property was peacefull, house was beautiful, and it was nice little escape. Would recommend if you want get away from the hustle of the city life, put down the electronics and connect with family.

Perfect getaway

The drive to the property is absolutely beautiful. The property is secluded and perfect for the family. The beds were comfortable, and the house came with everything to have a perfect family vacation. The grandkids loved the catch and release pond. We had a couple questions during our stay and the hosts responded super fast. A great experience.

Mr Ford was very accommodating, very friendly. The cabin is solid, scenery is great. Its about a 20 minute drive from town with stunning views. The roads to the cabin are curvy, sometimes narrow... I appreciated the realness of a true mountain town, not the flashiness of Gatlinburg. Would recommend

River Rat Getaway

The cabin and property were outstanding. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. WIFI helped us stay in contact with family at home. Property was private, secluded, and restful. Our white water raft trip was exciting and fun. Would love to do it again. Overall I rate it a 10 !

Family Weekend Trip

Our stay at this house and property was perfect from start to finish. It was set back far enough away from other people that you felt secluded and private. Plenty of room for activities for children. The house itself is open, spacious but cozy. The owner was available for any questions we had about the house. We hope to make this an annual destination for our late summer family trip.

A little piece of heaven

Family Reunion

The property was perfect for our annual family weekend get-together. The best ever. The grandchildren enjoyed fishing in the lake, wading and exploring in and around the running creek, lawn games and campfire. The cabin is spacious, well equipped and clean. Thank you to hosts Daniel and Teresa Ford for a memorable weekend. We definitely hope to return next year.

One night in the mountains

The house had all the amenities, had an open atmosphere, and was well suited for a family gathering. If you like being away from the crowds this is a good place. Daniel the host answered questions. No phone service, but has wifi. I think the directions could be better as the trip up to the property went on some narrow and twisty roads. On the way back I made a wrong turn and got on a much better road that led right to the interstate. It is a nice place

Wonderful Property.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The property was beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed upon arrival. Lots of room to sleep. Lots of room to play. The catch and release pond was wonderful. All of our kids caught several fish which made it super fun for them. The paddle boat was a blast and the creek was fun to splash around in. The host was very nice and quick to respond to our messages. They even sent a message to make sure we were enjoying our stay a little while after we checked in! We have already recommended this serene peaceful property to several friends and family.

Absolutely perfect!

This place is heaven on earth. We come from a busy densely populated area of Massachusetts, so the peace and quiet was awesome. We used the fishing pond everyday (we had a 6, 8, and 2-13 year old kids) and they loved the paddle boat and trying to catch the "big one". The rooms were perfect for our 8 people and the large kitchen and table were just perfect for our family meals. Daniel was by far the best host we have come across. He was attentive and always there when we needed him. He also went above and beyond what a host is expected to do. I cant wait till next year when we head back and take another amazing vacation in this little slice of heaven.

Family vacation

Just like the pictures showed, The cabin is set in huge grounds. There were 7adults & 4 kids ranging from 3 thru 16 and we had a blast. We took outdoor games to play (there was corn hole-and fishing poles in the outside shed to use) we enjoyed playing out side on the days we were hanging round the cabin. They loved going in the boat that was provided. We went prepared to fish but unfortunately never got chance. We did see plenty of fish while out on the boat though. The cabin was plenty big enough for us and was equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. There is a charcoal grill (bring charcoal) and a fire pit which we utilized. Sitting out on the porch was awesome. Only complaint. There wasn’t enough rocking chairs for everyone. LOL! Daniel the host was great and easy to work with. Easy to reach and nothing was too much trouble for him.

Tennessee Thanksgiving

The property was absolutely beautiful, exactly as described we booked this vacation for our children and our grandchildren. It was our Christmas present to them. They were so excited to go when we got there, They were absolutely amazed at the property the house that was so large and more than accommodating the pond, the fire pit, and being able to ride the side-by-side up to the top of the mountain, where there was snow During the day we took day trips back-and-forth to Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge, which was absolutely beautiful all the time they were praying for snow the night before we left as we were returning from Gatlinburg. It started to snow and the next morning they woke up to a winter wonderland Our six year old granddaughter was so excited to see snow and play in the snow. She had got her Christmas wish. I would also like to add that due to the fact that we had never rented a VRBO before we made sure we took everything we would need for the whole week that we were going to be there to our surprise when we got there they had everything we needed Except for the food which we had also brought with us we would like to say thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful cabin for the time that we did we would highly recommend this location to anybody looking for a family getaway. Cool Valley

The property was nice. House was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was very peaceful and quiet, which is what we were looking for.. Mom and 3 daughters just hung out and played games and enjoyed each others company.Only disadvantage was no WIFI.
