The only issue is that our room was supposed to be with two beds. We arrived and there was a playpen in our room (weird) and it was a queen. We asked for two beds but they said they upgraded us to a room with a window so it was just one bed. They did eventually move the playpen. I wish we could have had no window and two beds. "I liked the house, which is genuinely historic and full of character, and the garden areas with colourful plants and shrubs, a pond, a water feature, and plenty of places to sit. Terry and Lynne were welcoming and friendly, generous with their time and made me and my friends feel instantly at home. Terry cooked a very good English breakfast, and it was nice to meet other guests as we all sat round the same table for breakfast.
The bed was comfortable and there was a good fan to keep the room...

Good outside table area.
Great relaxing lounge with comfortable chairs and attentive staff.
This an older character building with some very interesting features, but is reasonably well maintained.
Have now stayed here four times and will definitely be returning."

"If you're visiting Duxford Imperial War Museum, or Cambridge, you won't find a better place to stay.
Cambridge and the Duxford Airfield and Museum are only 30 minutes away, with very light traffic most of the time. The motel-like accommodation is great, clean and modern with everything you need. The staff are very affable, and the food is simple but very good.
And of course there's a well-stocked bar.
The prices are very keen, and there is a large car park. What more could you want?"

"The room we had was a little small but adequate for a short stay. Price very reasonable. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast, food was good but they didn't replenish quickly enough. We had to ask for more coffee, pastries and eggs many times. However, the staff always acted to resolve the issues as soon as they could."

"It was as I imagined. Cozy, charming, and comfortable. Even without AC in the room we were provided with fans to help with the heat and it was cool at night to sleep.
The restaurant had great food for both diner and breakfast. I would recommend if you are looking for an overnight stay."
